The water pressure was very low which was quite annoying. Additionally, you need to beware there are many many stairs to get to your room. We were at the top, 4th floor, no lift with 2 small kids and 4 suitcases. Was not easy!

The exhaust fan in the bathroom wasnt working. 2. The pressure in the shower particularly hand shower was poor 3. The handshower functions didnt work well

Having to get key from a separate building. Shower door didn't fully close. A 17p litre bottle of still water in fridge would have been the icing on the cake. Double bed a bit small when most people sleep in king size bed. Expensive at £143 a night.

Well designed apartment. Someone had thought about how the occupants would use it and catered for them eg space to put wash bag, hooks to hang dressing gown and towels. All essentials provided like tea bags, crockery and cutlery, enough charging points, somewhere to store suitcases. It was exceptionally clean.

The inside of the building and the room was very stylish and looked recently renovated however the outside door was in poor condition but it didnt matter given that the room was excellent. There isnt an elevator for the building

The room was very comfortable and even though it was a bit further away from the places we wanted to visit the tube station and the Thameslink train nearby made transport easy and convenient. The room was clean and the bed comfortable.

Was impossible to get any hot water out of the shower at all, so we were unable to have showers in the morning.

The reception is hard to find, it is not at the same location as the rooms listed. I had to call their number and be directed to the reception, which is on the same road but a lot further down. They should put a poster on the door that gives directions to the reception as I never saw anything listed on the website mentioning a different location.

I can't fault anything, my only criticism is that it would be nice to be able to check-in andreceive your door key electronically instead, which saves you a little bit of travel, through an app perhaps? Maybe one day!

The room was immaculately clean, accurately equipped based upon the description, quiet, and peaceful. If you're up in town for either work or pleasure and need somewhere to lay low for a couple of nights, 198 Studios is a very good contender. Being right in the middle of West Hampstead means you have an amazing selection of places to eat, drink, and socialise on your doorstep, just avoid getting an Uber at rush hour!

For me it was a good choice as I needed to go just around the corner. The room is nice and spacious, however windows might have been cleaned. The communication either with reception or via the app was fantastic. I am pretty confident that I will be back one day.

We were not informed that we’d have to pick up the key from a different site about quarter of a mile away. Fortunately it wasn’t raining & there were 2of us so that one person could travel to the reception to pick up the key whilst the other waited with the luggage. It could have been very difficult under other circumstances. I’m not sure where the fault lies!

Easy arrangement to pick up keys, great level of amenity, quality good, TV channels good and just a really nice environment to stay in - I was really pleasantly surprised when I opened the front door!
