Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomFront door access not easy - the door was "sticking", so not so easy to get in with luggage. The frontage could be more attractive.
It was a definite improvement on my former visit. The room had everything I needed for a room at that price and the bed was very comfortable. I didn't see much of the staff, but those that I did meet on reception were pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was inclusive and was excellent with a good choice of items. I am coeliac and this isn't catered for, but I took my own bread and a toast bag and was able to make toast in the toaster.

United KingdomRooms upstairs are a bit dated and lots of marks on the walls, and it would definitely be difficult for anyone that struggles with stairs.
Good location and very cheap especially as The breakfast was included. I have stayed here several times and the reception staff Are always very helpful.

Clean and comfortable, good location with easy access to train station and centre of town, quiet neighbourhood, easy to check in, good breakfast included, sufficient space in room.
