Very friendly and helpful staff

The bedrooms are very small, and in my case, several things were wrong, eg the bathroom light wouldn't switch off, the shower was too hot and couldn't be adjusted, and the toilet roll holder was hanging off the wall. Overall, having stayed there 12 years ago, our group felt that absolutely nothing had been improved since. Considering this, the price we paid was too high.

The evening meals were very good, and most of the staff were very friendly and helpful.

I had opted for the Free Breakfast option. There were 4 choices - but the portions of food in one varied quite a bit from the other. They should look into this so that guests can get a proper value for their deal.

The location of the hotel was top-notch - absolutely next to the beach and in the quieter part of the town too. However, supermarkets and restaurants were just a 5-minute walk away. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the room had all the facilities needed for a short weekend stay.

Room faced a wall, hotel was all but empty so it would have cost them nothing to give me a room overlooking the sea.

The radiator heating was a bit dodgy, indeed best to say it was not working despite their efforts to fix it. There was ancillary heating which helped but it was cold outside and my partner felt it did not really warm up inside.

Great location directly opposite the ocean and the room we occupied had a seating area with a comfortable settee facing out of the large window so we could watch the waves. Not in the centre of town but a pleasant walk along the sea front gets you there. The staff were great and the included breakfast fully met our expectations.

Room needs updating .Windows need adjusting as the wind howls through them and makes room freezing.Parking along the road would make room expensive when having to pay .Breakfast ok very limited for the price of room

Rooms have dated decor, dated fixtures and fittings and dated bathroom. Window was draughty and let some traffic noise in but it wasn’t enough to ruin our stay. There was an oil filled electric heater that you could plug in. This was needed as the fixed radiator didn’t seem to get very warm. The fire door outside our room had a slight squeak that can be heard when other residents come and go.

Property is in a great location with easy access to the seafront, pier, and the town. The staff are extremely friendly, the breakfast was good with quality butchers sausage. We didn’t use the bar or restaurant, other than breakfast, but it looked nice enough. Parking was free as it was off season but chargeable during the summer season.

Just the main bedroom light could have been brighter for my wife doing her hair and make.

The staff are friendly and welcoming. We had an excellent sea view, from our room. The room was comfortable and lovely and warm. Plenty of hangers in the wardrobe for hanging clothes.

Not a lot. Breakfast choices included were limited but I knew this before I arrived as communication before the stay was all good!

Facilities and room were well within the expectations of the price paid. Staff very helpful. I had to stay an extra night because of a train strike but this was arranged no problem. Location spot on as well.
