A bit of a weird smell in the wardrobe and the snack bar was not filled with the items on the list so made sure to check that this was the case to make sure I wouldnt get charged for items I didnt use. TV controller was quite unclean. Quite noisy, could hear hallway noise clearly on floor 3.

In our first room the aircon didn’t work and neither did the tv remote (I know who watches tv away, but my partner pops the tv on while I get ready), but we told reception and he was so lovely and tried to initially reset the aircon, but unfortunately it didn’t work and the room was so hot! We were offered to move rooms which we did, and it was perfect. Had a couple of instances where our key card wouldn’t work but again it was sorted swiftly by staff.

The staff were so welcoming and helpful. The room was a really good size, the bed was really comfy and it was huge! The bathroom facility’s were excellent. We had a couple of situations that needed sorting out and the staff were very accommodating and so helpful.

I feel that I paid for a superior room and ended up with a pretty standard one that fell on par with hotels I’ve stayed in the past if not bellow them which weren’t “superior”. I feel like the room was very hot and there were a few things I would’ve expected for the price I paid, such as a mini fridge in the room, as our drinks were always quite warm, and updated television, etc. I personally wouldn’t pay for breakfast again if I were to stay as u felt there was not variety that necessarily met the tastes of some of us, especially with so many options near by.

The staff were amazing, particularly the man on nightshift on the night of the 7th. I felt very safe in the hotel with people constantly on desk and the doors being locked and named after a certain time. We loved the location and the rooms were clean and tidy on arrival. Breakfast was well cooked and any mistakes made during this time were quickly rectified. The room was really quiet also despite being quite central.

Breakfast was a bit of a higgldy piggldy affair (things not available on the menu, coffee not available, wrong order bought out)HOWEVER, the staff were incredibly polite and professional and rectified the issues we experienced well so we did have a nice breakfast in the end. I'm just glad we weren't in a rush 😆

Nice room, spacious enough and clean and modern. No street noise (we were on the 4th floor at the back) Great shower. Proper lights in the room! None of these one spotlight in the corridor then wall lights, there was an actual light fitting over the bed. So much brighter (and it had a dimmer switch)

Spotlessly clean, friendly, helpful staff, food was excellent quality. Nothing was too much trouble and we felt like we’d been treated very well and had a really good break. The shower was super and very comfy beds. The hotel, despite central location, was really quiet.

The bed was not overly comfortable and the rooms are not soundproof. The room and bed is not overly big. Thought it was a little expensive compared to other accommodations we stayed in whilst visiting the UK

The property was in a great location being close to the bus and train stations, pubs, clubs, shopping mall and trams. It was very clean and the restaurant attached to the property was outstanding.

The room itself was a little tatty and in need of updating; frayed carpet, bed very creaky although wasn’t actually too uncomfortable. It was very warm and stuffy when we arrived and the air con unit wasn’t working. Staff couldn’t get it to work so brought us up a portable unit. I notice quite a few reviews mention air con units not working. The hotel really should get this sorted before the warmer months kick in.

Fantastic location, a two minute walk up from Piccadilly station. Loads of coffee shops and restaurants within a 15min walk.

1. The temperature, its great to have a warm room but there was no ventilation so it got stuffy despite the air conditioner. Event a cleaner opened the window for us which helped immediately. 2. The doors slamming. This woke me up a few times but other than that, we loved it.

The staff were extra friendly, came to assist us with getting the room the right temperature as it was quite warm. The room was huge with the bed to match, bathroom and other facilities were spotless and the shower was divine. It's perfectly situated to the centre, station northen quarter and parades of shops everything was a 15/20min walk away max. I didn't get to explore the restaurant as they have some good options but definitely intend to stay again and find out. It was my partners first trip to Manchester and we agreed this would be our go to spot for accommodation.
