Our room was on the front street so it was quite noisy with the traffic starting pretty early in the morning.

Room 2 - toilet door couldn't be locked, and the tap keeps dripping. Room soundproofing is not good - you can hear toilets flushing from the next room.

Room 2 (triple ) was quite spacious but room 3 (twin beds)was rather tight.

Extremely small room (although, tbf, we knew we had booked the economy room) but shower was a bit of a struggle! Also, walls were very thin and you could hear next doors conversations some of the time!

Very clean. Great location...lots of pubs, shops and restaurant in the same road. Also had allocated parking...a necessity in Ambleside. Lots of tea, coffee and hot chocolate provided.

The noise from the street until early hours of the morning was incredibly loud, people drunk in the street shouting & swearing, someone in the room above banging around & swearing back at them, so sleep not possible . The room secuity system is also difficult to use as temperamental. The bedside lamps didn't work.

The door lock/handle was a great idea but was very hard to use, there was a knack to it that other guests had issues with as well, It wouldn't work until the alarm went off.. it was a ball ache. Lots of stairs

Difficult entry into property, door handle illumination intermittent and took several attempts over 10 minutes to gain entry.

The beds were noisy and uncomfortable, the door code was fiddly and difficult to use, too many stairs up to the attic rooms, the bathroom had toe nail clippings from a previous user on the floor, although it was a very hot day in September the radiator in the bathroom was stuck on and so it was like a sauna, there was one very inadequate noisy fan provided. Appreciated the free parking although be aware that it’s a walk away.

Bathroom separate to bedroom, across corridor. Didn't bother us much but felt as though it could have been annoying for other guests when we were in and out of the bathroom. We tried to be as quiet as possible. The carpark was a fair walk away through pitch black wooded area on a night which we didn't expect therefore we found alternative parking.

Room was comfortable, and exceptionally clean. Information regarding check in was clear and concise. Perfect for our stay.

Dim lighting in the room, poor sound insulation, could hear most of the street outside, the bathroom (while private) was not attached to the room - would have to constantly lock and unlock when using as it was opposite the room via the corridor. The utility (rear) door that goes though to the bins was left open the entire night

Key door entry was a bit fiddly but managed ,there was a horrible smell throughout which smelt like sewerage and there were flies but not in room ,just on stairs which was concerning
