I stayed with my Dad. A wonderful host in Dawn. Allowed us to check in slightly early. Room was ready and spotless. I don't think I have ever stayed anywhere so quiet. Bliss! Not even a car engine or creaky floorboard. We were not hassled at all at any point but knew someone was there if we needed them. A fantastic location. 1 minute's walk from the Restaurant we booked and 20 minutes walk to Bowness. 5 minutes walk from the train station. Perfect. Thank you for our stay. Highly recommended.

The property feels very homely and is situated in the middle of Windermere. There’s a range of bars and restaurants within walking distance and the lake isn’t too far either. Overall we really enjoyed our stay.

A charming classic house beautifully maintained by Dawn who made us welcome upon arrival and even provided a car park for us in very busy Windermere. Comfortable rooms with private bathrooms. Only a 30 minute walk (one way) down to Bowness-on-Windermere (or 5 min. drive) was enough to keep out of the heavily tourist area. Our stay was more than pleasant.

Due to illness there was no breakfast but because of the perfect location getting food was not a problem , the room was very clean and nicely decorated , the beds were very comfortable.

Rear parking spot was a bit tricky as it was tight space for 2 cars but there is on-street parking available if preferred.

Dawn went above and beyond to make our stay lovely! Every day she cleaned our room and topped up tea tray and replaced towels when needed. The room was top floor and very quiet, bed was comfy with lots of pillows and room was spotlessly clean! Great location with lots of cafes/restaurants nearby and only 20 minutes walk or 10 minutes drive to Promenade. Excellent value for money and would stay again!
