Annoying light in bathroom, only stayed on for a minute. Called to book but told no rooms. Booked through Booking.com Wine menu on table for breakfast but no breakfast menu. Advised it was self service breakfast then waitress came with cooked breakfast menu. Limited tv programmes. Could not see dinner menu so went to bar. Only Pizza on menu. Please take these as constructive criticism.

The pillows were a bit hard in room so didn't get the best sleep. But would deffo use it again.

Hotel was lovely, Staff were friendly. The room we were offered was ground and round back where staff were passing the window but when we asked for a changed it was no problem. Ended up in a twin room which was lovely. Room had everything we needed.

Paid a little bit extra for the Executive Double Room, however it the same as the standard double Room

When we arrived the lady on reception didn't greet us with a warm welcome she was stern faced tbh, not the best first impression, the girls later on in the day were very nice/smiley as you would expect. Later in the day we went for drink in the bar, we brought some drinks and sat down, then a gentleman approached us to ask if we're staying at the hotel?? Questioning why we were there. The staff spolit it for us on a couple of occasions and we were only there 3 nights Breakfast - as we came down after 8.30, we had to ask for Oj, cups, glasses, etc the ladies were lovely but we shouldn't have had to keep telling them what what was missing, we should have the same experience as the 1at customer of the day.

The rooms were small with no proper wardrobe or bedside space and bed wasn’t particularly comfortable. Our room was also next to some bins so people walked past our window fairly often

Lack of cleanliness. Marks and hairs around the room. Lots of noise heard from next door and what sounded like the bar. TV remote was missing.

Room was a decent size and staff were pleasant. Bed was comfy enough aswell.

The check-in was very robotic, no warm welcome, really, just told to sign told where to go. No warm messages, like hi how was your journey etc. It seemed like we were disturbing her. The bedroom was out in an annexe, and I didn't really say that's a possibility when booking. A few rooms nearby did think it was party central, and noisy door banging, but the main issue was the bed in 202, not comfy at all, very broken sleep all night. The ceiling was peeling in sections. Breakfast times are contradictory. As you walk in the door, it says 8-12 on a board, but on the room slip, it says 7.15-9.15. Went for breakfast, poor selection and service, we went and no one was greeting us, stepped in after waiting almost a minute, 3 staff members sitting down having coffee. Cold selection is very basic and poor. The real highlight of the whole stay was that the cooked breakfast was cooked very well, and it was roasting hot, so well done on 1 plus for during our stay. 3 star, I'd push to give 2 stars.

The Breakfast Staff weren't exactly welcoming, and you were made to feel a bit of a distraction from their discussion between themselves about other staff, and what they watched on TV the night before.

Reception Staff were friendly and helpful, I asked for a room with a bath and got one. The room was clean and comfortable and the bed was really nice, with proper duvet (very unusual). The food in the Italian Bar was excellent and tasty (I had a pizza) and decently priced. Lots of parking too.

Jacuzzi bath could have been cleaner so didn't use it. Orange juice at breakfast wasn't cold.

Breakfast was average. Staff clearing the buffet breakfast before we finished. No pot of coffee - it was help yourself. No fresh fruit. Glad we only had it one morning - we stayed for 5. Staff just about ok. Lack of individual attention despite not being busy.

Location where we needed to be . Pleasant surroundings and basic room ok for the price we paid. One evening meal and it was good. Staff in the evening very pleasant.

The room was a bit outdated, small and the double bed was so uncomfortable.

The hotel is lovely and the staff are friendly. The food was amazing the best Christmas dinner we have tasted by far.
