Close to Paddington Station, less than 5 minute walk, friendly staff, comfortable, if compact, room, hot shower, very good cooked breakfast, many pubs, restaurants, fast food outlets, convenience stores nearby. Ideal for short stay.

There were some stairs to negociate, but so is it in most places in London

Very good attendance, location close to Paddington station, and the good English breafast that was included in the price. This is the second time in a rather short while I have been staying at this hotel. I will shurely return when I have may way to the Paddington area.

Breakfast was a bit mismanaged, the guy asked me to change my seat 2-3 times just because I was sitting alone on the table. I would have never complained if he asked it politely but his way of asking was so rude and unprofessional.

Location is perfect, surrounded with all the facilities on walking distance. Specially the availability of halal food in the area is a big plus point for someone with a Muslim background

Easy to find the hotel in a convenient location not far from the train station. The room was OK though it wasn't the upgraded tripple room I believe I should have gotten but it was comfortable enough for one night and had a toilet and shower.

A lift would be nice... A massive plumbing repair, on the first day, which the staff told me was extremely expensive, caused by a blocked toilet. This was obviously caused by a previous occupant of my room : I was in no way responsible, but I think the staff were a little dubious about that, although perfectly courteous. I am prepared to stay at the Avon again.

The only thing I would read is less space in the room, non-functioning hair dryer, noise from the transport and a bit cold in the room

The accommodation is located in a very good location. It is close to the tube and Hyde Park. The staff were very friendly and they serve a really tasty English breakfast.

No stairs. No assistance with luggage. Extremely tiny room. (This is London, sadly). I didn’t sleep in the bed, used my long cardigan as a “duvet”. Extremely dated. Needs an entire renovation.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were excellent! The beds comfortable. Good location to get to from the airport and easy access to tube for exploring London.

WiFi is bad. The room is ok for one person but it is a little bit small.

Hotel is dated and doesn't look pretty from the outside, however, location is brilliant. It's clean and comfortable, staff very friendly.

Staff friendly, great location literally a 2 min walk to Paddington Station and 20 min walk to Oxford Street. Room, clean and comfortable.

Lady on the reception could of been a bit friendlier

Friendly staff, blocked CB unblocked by magic lady at reception, fantastic breakfast, such a comfortable bed. Situation, so near the parks.
