Can't think of anything I didn't like.

We were extremely satisfied with this accommodation. It is located at a good distance from nearby Dalby Forest and other outdoor sites while being extremely close to Pickering for lunch. The bed was comfy, the flat was clea, had all cooking amenities, the farm had lovely animals, it was quiet and peaceful while the hot tub was simply amazing. 10/10. Will def return.

The water initially went hot and cold but the owner was super quick to sort. The TV was on its way out too and once again the owner was quick to say he would replace it, but we were not bothered as we were out and about a lot. Only thing I’d suggest was maybe a rug in the living room as the flooring was a little slippery for our aging Labrador but that’s really minor. Nothing really to dislike.

Great location and enjoyed the animals and play park that was close by, despite the wet weather. The privacy was excellent and the owners were brilliant and were keen to help make it an enjoyable stay.

In winter be prepared to drive in thick fog as the way we came you had to go through up a couple mountains!

Very pleased to find this, it was handy for where I wanted to be for a couple of days. I had anticipated looking for a B&B but when I saw there was self-catering also coming in my searches I realised I had been missing a trick. Booked and was here within half an hour. I am glad I chose this.

We arrived when it was dark and found it very difficult to navigate the site. Some clearer, more noticeable signage would be helpful, particularly around the carpark.

We stayed for two nights and found that the hosts were very accommodating. The lodge was well presented, comfortable and warm. It was the perfect stay for our weekend break and we will definitely be returning!

It is a little remote for us. We like a stroll to a local pub in the evening which was not possible due to distance and, at this time of year (October) unlit country lanes. But for a short break we were very happy to stay home in the evening in the cosy milking parlour cottage. Or drive of course.

Great facilities, very cosy, clean and comfortable. Two televisions was a bonus. There was absolutely everything we could possibly have wanted for self catering. Plenty of space , superbly fitted kitchen and we especially loved the private terrace area where we sat in setting sun looking towards the fields with a glass of wine. It is about a 5ish minute drive to Pickering and half an hour or so the coast and Castle Howard. There's so much to see and do in this area as well as enjoying the country side.

No wifi. Not an issue as in the end my children resigned to speaking to each other! But it was annoying when we wanted to look up restaurants and days out etc as no signal at all not even 4G. And it did say wifi included.

Came over for a football tournament for the weekend 14th-16th July. Enquired if we could stay an extra night and it was no problem. It has all the necessities you need, from hairdryers, fans, toiletries, cleaning supplies for the kitchen. The kids enjoyed walking round the animals. Lovely, Peaceful & Cosy. Would highly recommend. The area was brilliant, quiet, peaceful and animals on site what you could go visit. Accommodation but better than expected and owners were wonderful and welcoming. There was a little games barn, fun for all ages :). Very accommodating and a great place to stay.

Beautiful place with friendly owners. We went away for my birthday and I can honestly say it was the best one yet, thoroughly enjoyed every moment! The hot tub was clean and lovely and the lodge was the perfect size in the best location and was completely spotless. Taking a walk round the park on a morning looking at all the animals was a breath of fresh air, the owners clearly take a lot of pride in their grounds as they were beautiful and well kept. We will definitely be back!

I didn’t realise the property would be in a courtyard, I was disappointed as I thought we would look out to fields and that we would be able to park our car nearer to the property.

Nice and clean, everything was catered for as in dish cloths, tea towels, washing up liquid, soap, toilet paper, sanitary bags, tea & coffee. Staff friendly.

It’s location - great base for exploring the area. The setting was beautiful, lovely area to walk our dog and facilities on site for my kids was brilliant. Loved seeing the animals and owners friendly and really helpful.

What a lovely spot, everything from accommodation to the site in general beautifully maintained. We stayed in the Byre, a 1 bed cottage. Everything you might need when self catering. The only thing that i would have liked is a coffee table, otherwise you have to put your drinks on the floor.
