The bathroom was shared with other guests, the lock on the bathroom could use replacement as well as the bathcabin door was taken off for some reason.

Clean, they prepared us some instant coffee with sugar and milk as well as an electric ketle, comfy bed, organised room, clean bathroom, nice bar, welcoming staff and guests.

The location is excellent, right in the heart of Broadstairs. Check in was easy, the room was clean, the beds comfortable and the shower was better than any hotel with a comparable price. Overall, great value for money in the perfect location.

A couple of tiny gripes, really. I don't like shared bathrooms but I appreciate they are a part of the deal with cheaper rooms. The building itself is a little old and needs renovating, but again, this is reflected in the price and it didn't bother me that much. The lock on the door was super stiff and difficult to open. That's it.

The staff were fantastic - so welcoming, polite, and lovely. I had a room with two single beds, and I was absolutely amazed by how crisp, clean, and COMFORTABLE the beds were - totally unexpected considering the price of the room. Super professional finishes, like lovely toiletries and nicely folded towels. Easy to check in and out.

The worst thing was dealing with Booking.com. In the last 10 months they failed twice in my booking. I wrote to them and also wrote to the CEO, no response at all. One hotel is even owed £15,000 I was told by a hotelier. This is the only way now to complain. I am seeking compensation from them.

Needed somewhere to stay for one night. The Crown Bar & Guesthouse came up on an Google search. Great location just a little off the sea front in Broadstairs. The room that I had used shared bathroom but that wasn't an issue with me. Other rooms have private facilities. A friendly welcome on arrival.

It was in need of a bit of tlc, small bed mattress needs changing could feel springs through it and very squeaky. Very bad stain above and around window which is in need of repair. Person next door had tv on loud all night.

Staff were very friendly and helpful, Bedding and towels were clean and fresh, coffee , tea biscuits and water was well stocked.

There is nothing to.dislike, all services are around, great location but my friend disabled.. Therefore flights of stairs difficult to navigate; hence only 8-10.

Parking was a bit of an issue, noise from high street early hours was frequent from a night club around the corner but did not take long to disperse once crowds moved on.

road noise because window has no insulation no curtains, blind was not effective to keep light out, woke up 6:30am because of light coming in plus street noise, so didn’t get a great nights sleep. bedside lamps and plug sockets near the bed for charging phones would be good. a better mini fridge

location is excellent room was clean bed is comfortable, clean sheets nice soft towels big tv room had a fan which was really appreciated friendly staff plenty of hot water for shower tea/coffee, biscuits plus bottle of water a nice touch
