The toilet seat in our room was broken and moved when sitting on which was uncomfortable, the shower in our room was very basic and the water was only luke warm, the head would only spray with one setting it was like taking a shower with a water gun which made it difficult to enjoy and clean oneself. The room doesn't have a toaster only a kettle and the remote control for the television didn't work properly.

The room was a standard bedsit which was very bright inside with comfy beds and the room was nice and warm, it was also very quiet at night so we had no disturbances and the room was located next to a main road too. The hotel provided us with some complementary tea and coffee sachets on arrival. The room also had a television which provided us with freeview programmes to enjoy throughout the evening.

Stayed here before and was nice , stayed again this time and just as nice , the receptionist was lovely lass and was very accommodating to our needs , she needs a raise , she was run off her feet but still managed to have a joke and a giggle with us .

Slightly worn carpets, older plumbing, and double glazing at the front of the property in need of updating.. but overall, not horrendous, just old 😉

Lovely and clean, friendly staff. Room was as expected, clean and welcoming, games room was lovely and children were able to attend unsupervised due to secure location. Close to both sea front and tram station for easy access to promenade.

The only thing that was not good was the fact the lift was out of order and my poor elderly mother in law had to walk up to the second floor .

The staff were absolutely lovely , food was great and the pool was an extra bonus . Was lovely we had it to ourselves, we loved that !

There were some used male underwear in my room on arrival, so I was a bit taken a back by that, perhaps could've done with a more thorough cleaner! The shower temperature was WAY too hot, absolutely scalding to the point where I couldn't use it even when turning the water temperature down, it stayed the same.

Rooms were good for the price. I did not use the facility of the swimming pool, so I can't comment on that. Any staff interaction was good and the bed itself was comfortable.

Door knobs on bedroom door was loose. The swimming pool was not available on our only day staying at the hotel. Games room was a complete rip off and had to claim £3 back from the reception fir a faulty games machine. Windows need cleaning inside and out Stairways need a good hoovering

Room was not in a good state, window didn't close properly, so wind was whistling through all night and blowing the ceiling tiles , toilet seat was loose, room wasn't cleaned properly , massive gap under the door.

The room, (and hotel) really needs updating. The carpet was really worn, and furniture outdated and old, and the ceiling was really outdated. on overall it was clean, but that outdated it felt dirty.

Pool was £5 per person and had to be booked in advance. But we did not miss it. Not emough parking, but staff guided us to next door and for fair price we parked close enough
