Breakfast. I didn't like/ eat the porridge i felt it wasn't cooked enough. Too firm.. They need more dorset cereal type meusli and fresh bananas, strawberries or fresh blueberries as one can't add an already mixed fresh fruit swimming in juice. I don't eat a hot breakfast generally. Bar Lunch. Would like better choices. We struggled to find anything but we were hungry and only needed a small meal.. The sandwich my husband had was very large triple decker but he didn't like it much as it fell apart and the crayfish contents fell out when he tried to eat it. I ended up with macaroni cheese with a grilled cauliflower slice, due to lack of choice. I would have liked a small quiche salad, small lasagne with salad or maybe cottage pie. Crayfish salad would have been my choice if available. Avocado and prawns. Simple food.

Breakfast. I tried the haddock which was lovely but too much for me. I don't really eat hot breakfast as I normally find it too filling. Had a few oats but shame there weren't any fresh bananas to add to it. They need more nut choice.

Service in the restaurant was very slow. I wanted a sweet but gave up waiting for someone to give an order to and left.

Not knowing I needed a pound for the locker at the swimming facility.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was delicious! The bed was super comfy and I loved the Molten Brown toiletries.

A tiny bit tired in places (for example could do with more sockets/USBs and updated TVs in rooms, and slight modernisation of some facilities). Breakfast wasn’t the best we’ve had, but it was beautifully delivered and the staff and service cannot be faulted.

Fantastic attentive staff. Beautiful grounds. Great view from our room. Wide range of facilities and enjoyed the pool area and terrace bar in particular.

Arrived at check in at 3 they said our room was ready when to went to our room it was not ready think they were doing something to the locks. Back to reception where the man who we spoke to was brilliant sorted us out another room

There were no plugs near the bed for charging or master switch for all the lights. Bath was more basic than photos on the website.

Comfortable room and the pool/jacuzzi was good too. Full SKY TV package was a bonus. Beautiful gardens and nice and close to the town center.

The hotel room was far too hot, we turned the heating down but it was still very warm. We upgraded our room which was a beautiful room, however it did state chocolates were included, however it was a credit card sized thin bar of chocolate between two people, the hotel should not advertise chocolates if it is one small mini bar between two people. On our second evening there were a young couple vaping in the lounge bar, apparently the hotel restaurant staff had already asked them to stop which they ignored, the bar person also requested they refrain from vaping and again they ignored him. My husband had to resort to reporting this at reception whereby someone came along and requested they refrain from vaping.

Breakfast was amazing, a fantastic variety and the hotel staff were exceptional.

This was our 4th or 5th visit, but the first outside of the expensive race weekends. As usual, great staff, clean room and fantastic breakfast. Lovely to finally get a swim in the super pool. Nice to see old faces in and around the hotel too. Highly recommend, especially if outside the expensive racing days.

Everything, room was ready so we got an early check in. Chocs, fruit and Espa spa bag in the room. Exclusive parking outside the building. Fantastic facilities, amazing food, great service. It felt like a proper treat.
