It was SO cold. I couldn’t find a way to work the radiator I’d tried but it was just no use To be fair I should have just called and asked but it was late and I don’t like troubling people

The property was very cleanly, can’t fault that. It was in a good location for me, it was nice and quiet. The room was spacious and airy.

The property is unmanned.You have to collect your key codes from another hotel over half a mile away- not good with luggage. They also took an extra £50 deposit (which is still not refunded) and insisted on a bank card.They did not take electronic cards.. The TV did not work. The sign outside was hidden and not clear.

The Mountfort Hotel kindly booked a taxi to Airport for me but didn’t warn me that I have to pay in cash. At 3.30 am it was a surprise I’d rather be without.

From the outside it looked a bit run down, but inside was ok A few things were tired looking, but overall not many. The doors on the rooms tend to slam which meant being woke about 4 am by people getting in

Having to travel to another hotel to check in. I was travelling with a baby and booked close to an event I was attending specifically so I wasn't having to walk around by myself but then had to spend 20mins walking around trying to find the other hotel. Then when I got to that hotel they told me they had moved me to stay in that hotel until I insisted that I remain in the one I had booked. Also despite them being aware I was a single women travelling with a small baby they placed me on the top floor so I had to do multiple trips up and down three flights of stairs in order to be able to get my things upstairs with the baby. They also said that breakfast was included but it was in the other hotel so wasn't convenient to go back to so we skipped it.

Things like toilet paper could have been refilled more regularly.

It was a really convenient location for us to put guests in. The property had quite bad reviews, so we didn't expect much, but our guests were perfectly happy.

Unfortunately our stay was spoilt by the actions of the other guests. After 2 nights of disturbed sleep because of noise in the corridors we cut our stay short and came home a day early. Also the smell of cigarettes and weed kept wafting into our room from elsewhere

Room 3 dark and window not secure. Room 4 floor unclean plugs didn’t work and very dated furniture and decor.

Booked 2 rooms. Room 4 spacious room 3 less so. Good location and beds clean and clean and comfy.

I was mistakenly under the impression that I had booked b+b if I'd known there were cooking facilitys I would have packed breakfast items and made my own but that was a minor glitch compared to actualy finding the place, after driving over 3 hours I wasn't ready to be driving back and forth for a further hour looking for the Hotel, that was a nightmare, I was sent 2 seperate post codes via 2 seperate emails 🤔 nobody told me I had to check in at one place then make my way to the other, also the two locations are named different to the place I was looking for, altogether it wasn't a very pleasant experience I definately would Not recoment this place to my worst enemy.

The room and facilitys were fine I didn't expect the micro kitchen with cooker and fridge etc.

The rooms are quite dated and not representative of the photos. Room 3 where we stayed had a back door thar was unable to be locked and left my wife a little nervous as we were there with our 3 year old. It's cheap ish but I would just expect a touch better basics for that sort of money.

The window was fairly broken and wouldn't shut properly, so I wasn't able to shut out traffic noise at night. There was only one cup for tea and coffee, so we couldn't enjoy that facility.

It was clean and comfortable and in a good location. The ensuite was nice with a lovely shower. It was good to have a small kitchen too.

Kettle lever broke. Bathroom light pull works intermittently, bed skids away from wall. TV on wall adjacent to bed so can't be seen from bed - sofa has to be moved. Remote doesn't work kitchen tap only dribbles. A dishcloth would be very useful

Bed was comfy. Staff appeared quickly to turn heating on. Room quite large. Bathroom good and clean. Use of kitchen good
