Perfect location, easy walking distance to the sea front. Room was lovely, everything was in really good condition. The breakfast was top notch. Debbie was really helpful booking me in at a local restaurant for my evening meal.

Everything was perfect.

Our stay with Debbie & Rich was absolutely wonderful. The property was spotless and I am very aware of cleanliness so this met my expectations totally This couple went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. Rich,s fudge was scrumptious. Very helpful with place to eat. I would certainly give this property a 10++++++

Exceptionally clean and beautifully decorated. The owners were so welcoming and friendly and were very helpful with advice about the local area. Breakfast was fantastic! Everything you may need is available. Catered effortlessly for my gluten intolerance. Lovely gestures like home made fudge in the room on arrival. We’ve thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend.

We could not find anything we did not like!

This is the best small hotel we have stayed at in England! We will definitely be back. Lovely comfy bed, great decoration and ample storage. The shower room was compact but extremely clean and tidy. The towels are great quality and a good size. Home made fudge, sweets and Netflix on the TV. The breakfast choices were many and the quality of the locally sourced items was very good. A great tasty breakfast!

Very pretty room, the most comfy bed, powerful shower. The cleanest room I have ever seen, equipped with everything we needed. The owner has an amazing talent for hospitality, and definitely a perfectionist taking care of even the smallest details (fresh flowers, fudge on the table, homemade fruitcake as a leaving gift).

Everything was excellent Netflix and alexa available in your room alongside treats from the host. Comfy bed and pillow so we both slept like a log. Breakfast was great. I could not find anything that was not spot on

Bentley Lodge is the perfect B&B. Everything about this place from the friendliness of Debbie & Richard, to the rooms - which are spotless with comfortable beds and pillows, bed linen and decor - its the perfect space to sleep and relax. The breakfast was excellent in an equally beautiful dining room. The little extras Debbie & Richard provided - funeral and rocky road cake in the rooms, homemade preserves and their lovely fruit cake as a parting gift made our stay truly special. Thank-you

Exceptional standards of hygiene and cleanliness. Very thoughtful additions like a mini fridge with milk and filtered water.Tea/coffee making with hot chocolate option and biscuits. Very thorough folder with all the local info. Very well decorated and most importantly- a very comfy bed.

Debbie and Richard are the perfect hosts. Beautiful guesthouse in a great location, just a nice short walk to the centre through the Abbey grounds. The attention to detail is second to none with home made fudge and Rocky road in the beautiful bedroom. Home made Jam and marmalade for breakfast with tomatoes fresh from the gorgeous gardens. The breakfast was amazing too. We would definitely recommend staying here. If i could score 11 out of 10 i would !!

The rooms are beautifully decorated and very clean with a homely feel. The owners Richard and Debbie are very warm and friendly often going above and beyond on many occasions to make the stay enjoyable. They also cater for special dietary requirements. I have a special diet which can be difficult to accommodate but as a nice gesture they left some gluten and dairy free cookies and chocolates in my room which was very kind of them. The location is a 4 minute walk to Torre station and a 15 min walk to Torquay station. I don't often write reviews but I would highly recommend you wont be disappointed.
