Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomThe noise about midnight and 3am as people were leaving the club. Mattress was dipped. A few issues over lack of stock in the restaurant at dinner time. Marked difference between the dog friendly bedrooms and normal rooms.
Staff were very friendly, brilliant with my daughter. Breakfast was lovely and the room was really nice and huge. Shower pressure was brilliant. Love the little dog station in the entrance.

My main issue is the lack of ventilation in the rooms , it could do with a/c on such a hot July evening. The hotel suffers a little with out of date decor , but the room was very clean . The breakfast was excellent

United KingdomIt's big and sadly a bit tired. Corridor was noisy at night because of clients, not deliberate but unthinking ( single sex groups). Rooms a bit tired and one of our two beds was well past its best!
Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. Staff were good and helpful from reception to dining room. It's a big place and they had room for us at short notice. It was a Saturday night!

United KingdomSomeone else wronly checked out providing our room number, I guess in error. They didn't check that is the right room they were checking out and thought we had checked out a day earlier. This is in spite of the fact that the name was different. The next morning we had problems when we went to have our booked breakfast. Clearly they made an error and kept questioning our booking. Maybe this will not happen to everyone. Apart from this, the rest were fine.
Large room with comfortable chairs. Neat and clean curtains. Restaurant available. Full breakfast. Reasonable dinner. Ample free parking. Quiet place off the main road.
