Damp on the wall in the corner of the living area. Overall cleanliness wasn’t the best. Lots of dust on windowsill and worktops and cobwebs in corner of ceiling. Could do with a deep clean. The pans were dreadful could do with having a non stick one available and washing them up was hard. Just to note for future users the dial to turn the shower onto heat has been but on backwards so the arrow points at econ to be turned off. Took us a while to figure out why it wasn’t heating up then realised it was backwards.

Perfect location, super easy to walk into Keswick town. Apartment was cosy but dated but this was showed on pictures . Good on site parking. Really appreciated there being foil and cooking oil and fresh washing up equipment being left. Kitchen was well equipped.

Bed was uncomfortable. Information in the handbook required updating as wasn’t clear who to contact or how much the washing machine would cost. Minor things in comparison.

Location is brilliant, 10min walk from town. The apartment was clean and tidy, very cosy for our 3night stay. It was warm and inviting.

It was clean and warm and this is what we wanted. Some of the furniture is slightly dated, it was all usable and didn’t affect our stay! It could be modernised, but that would then be reflected in the price!! We would not hesitate to book again for here.

10 min walk to Keswick centre. Parking outside the property. Lovely and warm. Everything you need for a self catering apartment.

A non-stick frying pan would have saved me a lot of work! Detailed instructions for the laundry would also have helped. I kept feeding the washing machine with 50p pieces only for it to stop mid-programme. Then when I inserted another coin the progamme seemed to re-start from scratch. I ended up choosing the spin function when down to my last 50p, just to get my clothes out in a reasonable state, even though the wash was not complete.

Lovely spacious living room and kitchen/dining area and good sized bedroom. Comfortable bed and adequate storage space. Bathroom small but perfectly adequate. Apartment (Greta) was clean and everything worked. Great location. Ample and easily accessible parking.

I was given the wrong key code so had to wait outside until someone returned my call There was a horrific smell in the kitchen that lingered throughout the holiday despite buying a can of air freshner The hot water taps scolded my daughter, insanely hot

Fridge was a little bit smelly. We would have given this a 9 but the host took ages to reply to a query before we arrived (we then contacted booking.com direct and got a reply very quickly) and then didn't reply when we told them about a problem with the hot water tap in the kitchen. Is the mobile number given in the paperwork correct?

Permanent bed very comfortable (there's a pull down bed that we didn't try). Kitchen had enough utensils/crockery etc. for two people. All rooms were a great size. Everything was clean.

The house smelt quite damp and musty. The kitchen and decor was quite dated and could do with modernising. The shower screen wasn't very effective so the bathroom got soaked every time anyone had a shower! We also weren't told the exact name of the apartment which made key collection confusing for me and other guests when we arrived.

The apartment is a great location as it is just a short walk into Keswick and there was loads of room for parking. We liked it being a duplex with the bedroom upstairs to the lounge and kitchen. It was a really good size and cosy.

The only downside is I would say, you need to keep the windows open during the day, otherwise you would end up with a damp smell due to the high humidity and the poor or lack of insulation.

We spent a week in Emount one bedroom apartment. We were 10 minutes’ walk from the town centre. The Keswick to Threlkeld Railway Trail starting point was also a few minutes’ walk from us. So, the location is just perfect. The cottage itself was old but well looked after. The apartment size is perfect for couples. We had everything in the kitchen that we needed for our break. Wi-Fi was working well. Keeping in contact with the owner is easy.

Too many cobwebs. Cutlery, crockery, pots, and pans missing not matching the inventory. No curtain or blind in the bathroom. Washing machine didn't spin properly.

TV reception lost during inclement weather - but iPlayer still good.

Location excellent and quiet. Within walking distance of town center. Cooking facilities good. Wi-Fi good - no freezing on iPlayer. Parking right outside front door.

The heating was controlled and you couldn’t turn radiators off, which made it extremely uncomfortable for my partner at night time. I booked a dog friendly place, selected via booking.com thinking this was sufficient. Little did I know you then actually have to private message the owner to advise you’re bringing a dog prior to arrival. You also get a £25 charge for bringing a pet along with you!! Even if it it stated in the terms and conditions… I don’t think it’s necessary to request a pet when you’ve already selected it via booking.com.

The location was great, 5-10 minute walk into the heart of Keswick town. It had everything we needed for a weekend stay and was clean. It has a shared garden area which is perfect for dogs and ample private parking.
