The property had everything and even more that what is needed for a lovely stay. We felt very comfortable and it was like being our own home. The host Graham was very kind and helpful.

There was nothing we could find fault with.

The flat was very well laid out, everything that we needed for our 4 day stay was there. The bedroom had plenty of storage space, hanging and drawers. The lounge furniture was comfortable, and the bathroom, although small, was adequate. The flat was within walking distance of all amenities - grocers, cafes, and gift shops and only a 20-minute walk or short drive to Bowness and the Lake.

Clean and spacious especially the living room. The kitchen and toilet are well-maintained. Kitchen has cooking pots, utensils and condiments. Mr Graham was very responsive with queries and was kind enough in granting some of our requests. Would highly recommend this property.

It really is a lovely property so don’t really want to grumble. However, the first 24 hours were lovely and peaceful as the apartment upstairs was empty. When the guests upstairs arrived it was quite noisy until we left. This wasn’t due to them being loud or intentionally noisy but the floorboards creak a lot and we could hear conversations. This was a little frustrating when I was woken by them using the toilet in the middle of the night, although appreciate it wasn’t their fault. Apart from this it really is a lovely property, I would just request the upstairs apartment next time.

The property is in a great location. We parked up when we arrived and walked for the next few days to various nearby towns. There is great public transport too with buses and the train station a short walk away. The property itself was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. Despite staying in December and having heaters fitted rather than central heating, we were toasty! Graham messaged with the details we needed and we knew he was on hand should we need anything.

Only 1 tea towel in the kitchen (for 5 days). I found the lighting options in the main room were not bright enough. And, difficult to get a large suitcase up the stairs although Graham, the host, was very willing to do it for me which was really appreciated.

Accepting the excellent value (half the price of most available places esp those nearer walking areas eg Ambleside ), there was nothing we disliked of the facilities. I am only 5ft 1. The 2 mirrors were set high so I couldn't see lower than my chin without standing on tip toes.

Convenient for Windermere town. Free parking. Very well kitted out: all basic standard and nothing exceptional, but all in working order and nothing missing making a 3 day self catering break very easy and was very very good value. Graham was an excellent communicator and popped by on our last morning. No rush to leave, so we packed and left car until the afternoon which was kind.

The location was great with a very short walk into town. The facilities were very clean and the area is very quiet.

The weather could have been better but we are in the Lake District so unsettled weather is expected.

Perfect location as close enough to walk into Windermere but far enough away from traffic. Plenty of places to eat and drink round about. Just a 20 minute walk down to the lake at Bowness for more shops etc. Transport links are very good.

I found the bed a bit soft but that's a personal preference.

Perfectly located in the village, this cottage is well equipped - especially the kitchen. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The recycling of waste is facilitated and we really appreciated that. The unit was clean and easy to stay in.

The apartment was in immaculate condition. The host created a folder with all information pertaining to our stay including how to operate certain equipment, nearest emergency services, food, bus etc. There were brochures with ideas of where to go. The host communicated well. And even on the day of leaving, allowed us to store our luggage while we continue to explore nearby. It was a lovely stay

Only thing I would change was the shower. It was adequate, but I have long hair and I had to rinse in the sink after shower. Am used to a power shower so electric showers are always a little disappointing, but thatcis purely personal choice
