We had to pay for parking, the room didn't appear to have been cleaned properly previously there were bits on the floor, I went to hang something up in the wardrobe and the rail fell down. There was also only wifi in the lobby, overall given that for just me and my daughter poor value for money.

This place is just party central. Kept awake all night by rooms close to us being loud until the early hours, some all night. Parking is VERY limited. Be prepared to pay a small fortune to park on the street. Would not stay here again

The lifts and the smell of old food

The place seems okay at first, passageways are fresh etc the lift is just mad two people with a suitcase can just get in and we are not large. Guess like other hotels in Bournemouth it attracts large numbers of stag parties, very load and hotel staff just unable to deal with it at all. The morning we left the hotel was getting ready to close to the public to be handed over to the home office!!! some guest were a bit annoyed at being moved without request to one of the companies other hotels, Anyway its a great spot where it is, just a shame the as with all Britannia hotels its always understaffed and needs upgrading. but I guess the owner wants to remain named the worst hotel group in the UK. The good news is people wont be able to book with them as it seems so many of their hotels are now run by the home office.

I was pleased to have a room with a shower but our room was dingy and cold. Had to use the plug in radiator. lots of tape around to keep corridors carpets down

Was very basic for the price. No A/C, which could be a problem in the summer. And no reliable Wi-Fi. Check in & out hrs not convenient either.

Disappointing stay. We didn't sleep well the first visit and had unfortunately booked another stay a week later so we hoped for improvement. There was a problem with booking on the second visit and we ended up sleeping in different rooms. The building is tired and needs updating. The first visit was cheap but the second, over a weekend, was extortionate and definitely not value for money!

No bar service in the afternoon Limited range of alcohol at reception no wine, only one card reader at reception bar staff had to escort customer to reception to pay for drinks, parking how can you sell more parking spaces than you have? Limited coffee in room, bathroom could do with some tender loving care a new bathroom suite would help.slip hazards in corridor until morning, no monitoring of dogs left in room unattended barking. The lift was so small you could only fit 1 person and a suitcase. The room was dirty, the carpet and floor hadn't been cleaned properly. The bed was so uncomfortable, I could feel the springs through it. It was very dated and there was not parking on site.

I am very dissapointed with the way how the hotel deals with the price for the night because the price for the night is quite alright while paying through the booking.com but during checking in there are a lot og extra cost so £5 for the car park and £10 for every pet so for people like big family the cost is a lot higher than it says on the website.

We had a water leak from above....this was reported on 3 accasions and nothing was done....towels were used to clear up the water..and again we asked for fresh towels after every leak....and nothing was done.... As compensation we was offered a free breakfast .... WOW ..... I would have preferred the problem to be sorted out the first time. ......

Paint work peeling carpet on stairs threadbare in places. Would be nice if staff served tea and coffee instead of having to walk right across the room.

Location very good close to beach. Hotel needs a refurbishment but as clean as the staff can make it. Breakfast was reasonable. Very quiet area no traffic noise.

Outdated decor and furniture, needed a hoover as well. Only got one pillow per bed and when asked for more the staff were very slow with dealing with the request despite it not being busy. We didn't use parking but it looked a nightmare.

Hotel was in a great location, short walk to beach and BIC. Room smelt clean.

Tbe Hotel was a good location and good to stay for a night or too,but it had a smell to the room, basic facilities and small rooms unless having one of the upgraded rooms
