No dislikes at all, because I was expecting this type of stay

This is accommodation in a farmhouse on a working sheep farm. It is not Premier Inn, if you expect premier inn accommodation then go elsewhere. It plainly states no breakfast so don't complain when you don't get a breakfast. It is a wonderful quirky farmhouse with a fantastic host that does remind you of staying at your grannies. There is a lounge area with TV and wifi but me and my lad didn't use that facility. My six year old loved the fact we were on a farm and loved watching them round up the sheep. The hill behind has fantastic views of the Hope Cove valley and a footpath down to the sea about a mile away.

Fan in the bathroom unfortunately didn’t work, wifi cut in and out (no reception to use own service provider), bed a little tired and could use new mattress.

King size bed, fridge in the room was fabulous, fantastic shower, location lovely and peaceful, nice walks around the farm and nearby hope cove, overall a nice place to stay.

We are very happy with our experience at BFH, we arrived late after booking a room room for 4 people with Booking .com,, to a room with no ability to put extra bed's, Anne was able to find us an extra room, with extra payment. Booking. com has not replied to our message or refunded us of their error.

There was a lot of noise from room next door on one night.

This was my second visit and it is just perfect for coastal walking in the South Hams. I’m fine with making my own breakfast and really enjoy staying here.

Why is it described as B&B when there’s no Breakfast? Worse though was the lack of hotwater and the total absence of anybody to ask about it, let alone fix it. And why a 13-tog duvet in the middle of summer??!!

The room was fine even if the powerpoints were scarce and the kettle had to be boiled up on a shelf

The farm dogs barking in the early hours (but I'm not a great sleeper and my friend slept really well). Would've been nice to have the option of breakfast, even maybe just bread and pastries and jam but we took our own and there are plates/bowls and cutlery in the room.

Quirky farmhouse. Perfect for crashing for a couple of nights. Room was very clean and comfy beds.

Room was very hot and on second night noise from other guests plus a barking dog outside for much of the night means I did not get a good nights sleep.

Peaceful location, only about 20/25 mins walk across the fields to Hope Cove where there is good fish restaurant and a sheltered beach and bay.

Disappointed that for 3 adults we were only left with 1 x bath towel and 1 x hand towel between us. We were unable to locate any staff to request more.

Shower was cold and the owner came in because water was leaking into his kitchen below but didn’t help to resolve the cold shower issue. Very thin walls, could hear everything next door and below.

No breakfast. No staff (literally didn't see any staff even for check in or out). TV not working, Wi-Fi not working. other guests had to show us how to check in. Tricky to wash up in hand basin. Not clear which facilities were part of the B (and no B) and which were private. There was mention of a bar room but no idea where it was. had to message 4 times to get a response from staff and they didn't answer all questions.

Comfortable, pretty location, close to beaches, good playground.

It would have been helpful to have a pint of milk on arrival as the farm as it is quite remote and down single track roads - we were given a jug of milk on request though.

Lovely secluded location but close to Hope Cove and Malborough. Lovely outside seating area and use of BBQ and pizza oven. Useful to have a fridge, cutlery and crockery in the room.

There was no meet and greet, we never met the owner all the time we were there. We would have liked to discuss a possible refund on the other room As our daughter and grand son went down with covid on Friday and were unable to come.
