We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomThought the dinner menu in Cleaver menu was rather limited in choice. I’d have expected more options for a 4 star rated hotel.
Spacious comfortable room. Property has a lift so good for guests with mobility problems. Easily accessed from main road into Stornoway with plenty of parking. Superb breakfast - the best we experienced on a tour of the islands.

After booking into a previous guest house which we walked out of we didn’t have much choice with where we could stay. There were only 2 places and we picked your hotel. Good choice 😊

United KingdomThe older rooms are a bit tired.
I have stayed in the hotel several times for work reasons connected to family - the refurbished rooms are lovely, a good size, very comfortable with tweed furnishings and modern, well-designed bathrooms. Initially I was given one of the older rooms but the kind receptionist swopped for one of the newer rooms I had on my last visit - this made a big difference as the view was pleasant and the room light and airy. There is a good choice of cooked breakfast and the staff are pleasant. It is expensive but choice in Stornoway is limited.

United KingdomTiny things, nothing major at all - a phone in the room would be good and room service would also have been a benefit along with an information booklet about the area etc. Also a small fridge would have been very welcome but I realise this is not an essential for most people.
Restaurant really nice design and the food was very good. Very accommodating staff, great location, easy parking, nice atmosphere. Nice shower gel product. Very good housekeeping. Lovely grounds and easy access to walking through the castle grounds.

The position just outside the city center (a few mins’ walk), the cleanliness, friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast was delicious and the dinner (at the hotel restaurant) was very good.

The room was nice , bed was comfortable, plenty of toiletries . The restaurant was nice and bright, the breakfast buffet was good and well presented, the breakfast menu was nice and the cooked food was really tasty and well presented.

IrelandBar closes early but night manager did facilitate us for drinks post festival which as residents we would have expected.
Stayed here for Hebcelt and the location was perfect for walking to the festival site, plenty of parking space as well. Excellent, well trained staff, good breakfast and good food in general.
