Decor seemed rather dated and public rooms dingy. Could have done with a comfortable seating area.

Excellent breakfast and service. We had two evening meals from the same menu. First was excellent but second was a bit disappointing possibly because the restaurant was busier. Very comfortable bed and nice en suite and room very clean. Very helpful friendly staff.

The hotel was very well run. The staff were very friendly and helpful - nothing was any trouble. The food was of a very good standard. There was plenty of outside seating. There was a gooe smoking area. The hotel was conveniently placed for visiting this part of Kent and Surrey.

It's really very minor, but springs in our mattress felt like they would be on their way out soon. We slept fine, but not the comfiest of mattresses.

Lovely stay at this nice characterful country pub/hotel. All staff were superb, so friendly and polite, nothing was too much trouble and felt like they were all trying to make it an excellent level of service. Food was great, lovely cooked breakfast and we also had dinner in the restaurant on night of our stay. Room was very clean, maybe a little dated, but have everything we needed. Good shower.

Very comfortable room in a quiet location. Dinner in the restaurant was superb and reasonably priced. Good quality breakfast which was included in the room rate. Would definitely stay again.

Overall the stay was great, however the property is very tired and in need of a spruce up. Dingy paintwork and very tired bathroom let down the stay. The breakfast was very good and the staff were excellent. Would I stay again…maybe but I would want to hear of some refurbishment.

Very friendly staff who welcomed else warmly and were helpful throughout our stay. The family room was large and spacious. Good water pressure in the shower and plenty of towels.

Very relaxed, friendly hotel serving delicious well priced food. Room's were quiet, clean and well equipped, The window's open.....hallelujah! Staff were all lovely, overall a small, friendly homely feel to this cosy hotel. Will be returning!

Breakfast had a wide selection of choices. Both full English and continental were excellent. Bed was very comfortable. Lovely coffee pod machine in room. Access to car park from room was perfect due to mobility restrictions of one guest. All staff were friendly and helpful

Not so much a ‘didn’t like’ but we stayed in the four poster, and it wasn’t as comfortable as I’d thought. I nearly rolled off it in the night, which made me giggle. But this is a me thing, please don’t be put off, I’m very fussy about my bed.

The room was very tired looking,cups in the room were dirty,paint peeling off the ceiling in the bathroom,extractor fan had lots of dust on it and very randomly what looked like a bottle opener was screw to the bathroom door frame,quite a few cobwebs knocking about and two screws left sticking out of the wall where a guess a trouser press or something would of once been..Curtain pole seemed to be loose and moved from side to side when trying to close the curtains.

The food was excellent ( evening meal and breakfast ),staff very friendly and the car park had plenty of spaces.The shower was excellent very powerful and hot.The bed was clean and very comfortable.
