The bed, was a quite lumpy, and my husband didn't sleep well. I think the mattress may need attention in that room. 914. But overall, views and the quietness was perfect.

We didn't have breakfast, as we were due at The Ritz by 11.30am. So we just had coffee in our room, which was very good

The rooms were quite dated, and some marks on the wall. We had a afternoon tea booked, and had to wait 45 minutes for the food to come out, when others got theirs before us. Not once did we get asked if we wanted any tea, just kept topping up the prosecco. They resolved the situation and upgraded us.

The location was very good, and the staff were very friendly but we did have a few issues which they resolved very quickly.

The invoice did not match the price I was quoted when booking. Initially it was £700 more, this was fixed, then when I checked out they tried to charge me for room service and dinner which we never had!! Check your invoice closely……!

Choice was OK - staff not very attentive. Had to ck finally ask for tea and coffee - nothing was ever offered

Room, staff friendliness, especially concierge, reception and cleaning staff also, breakfast staff also. Breakfast as such was rather poor. The buffet is below expectation. I took à la carte which was ok but not great. But the staff made up.

TV wouldn't work.

The location was superb, gave easy access to many attractions and theatres plus was a stones throw away from the tube for further exploring. The room was spotless, a good powerful shower. Good tea coffee making facilities, powerful hairdryer. Included and iron and a nice touch of an umbrella. Breakfast was plentiful, a good selection and quality food.

Paid for the superior double because it said it was spacious. Had a standard double before which was small. This really wasn’t worth paying extra for.

Its location is amazing. Close enough to the main spots but far enough back to be quiet. There’s normal pubs near by too.

The afternoon tea experience was very disappointing. We made an online reservation at the hotel a few days ahead. The wait staff was not attentive and were very hard to understand. Instead of explaining the process, they were more interested in finding out if we had vouchers. Finally they realized we made an online reservation. After the tray of food came, they never offered us tea. Not once did they mention about tea selections. When we finally asked, two pots of tea came in metal containers like in any regular state restaurants. At the end when we asked for a to go container, they told us they don’t carry any to go containers. Out of all the restaurants in London. This was the most frustrating and expensive dinning experience. We were glad that was the only time we ate here.

This hotel was very centrally located. We were very happy with our stay at the facility. However, our one dinning experience at the Cavendish was the worst in London.

Enjoyable apart from the dining room The dining room Buffet had cold / wet plates and ran out of sausages at one stage We and other guests had to wait for more sausages for 20 minutes
