Reception desk very small - also we are used to staying nearer to Westminster and felt a bit far down the river but this is personal preference

The check-in process was quick and easy, with very friendly staff on hand to help. The rooms are exceptionally clean, with plenty of everything you will need and a great choice of coffee with a coffee machine. The breakfast was lovely, tasty and fresh with plenty of choice in a very stylish pub/breakfast room. Would definitely recommend!

We liked the balcony and we did enjoy all the little coffee bits available, room was stocked with lots of little extras which was nice as many places don't go that far to supply you with extras that are free with the room. Bed was quite comfortable and made full use of the dyson fan.

We were on the 2nd floor and from 5.30 all we could hear was the tube train every few minutes pulling into Aldgate. The line must be directly below the hotel .

An earlier check in time would have been nice but wasn't a problem.

I came to London to visit my nephew and this hotel was showing at a good price. The location is very close to Aldgate tube station, the pub is nice and the staff are friendly. The room was really nice, the bed was very comfortable and there was no noise from the street outside.

The location was perfect. Very easy transport links right round the corner. The staff were lovely. The breakfast was very nice too. What made it that extra bit special was the flower petals on the bed and a birthday banner and balloons. Totally unexpected and a nice little touch!

It's an old building, thick carpet over creaking floorboards, but it has a certain charm.

Location, good bar/restaurant and breakfast, loved the little milk bottle for the coffee machine in the room.

This London hotel near the city center exceeded my expectations. The staff were friendly, the breakfast was delicious. The beds were plush and inviting, guaranteeing a restful night's sleep. Additionally, the rooms were well-appointed with modern amenities, adding to the overall convenience and comfort of my stay. I highly recommend it for a memorable stay in the heart of the city.
