Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

We were told that we could get room service, and pay on checkout . So we went to our room to get settled for the night , but when we called down for our food we were told that we could not get room service and that we would have to go down to the bar and buy our food there and then .

Staff were pleasant & helpful. The gesture of Chelsea water bottle, this is great for a Chelsea fan. Room was clean, spacious and comfortable.

The fact that they charge your card £50 at check in incase you use the services. I’ve only ever been charged upon checkout. I was told I would have this reimbursed upon check out. I’m now TWO WEEKS since staying and still haven’t received my £50 back. Joke.
Really nice hotel, clean, modern and staff were really helpful. Great location being a Chelsea supporter.

I can not think on what could be done differently.
I have been several times to this hotel whenever I need to be in London. Staff is super friendly and by now I am even recognized by some of the staff!:) The location is very good, the rooms super comfortable. I normally eat out but I am sure that the breakfast is very will as well.

Had to keep reminding housekeepers to do room. Water not very hot had to request maintenance.
Excellent location obviously for football but also to access London sights using public transport.btube and buses outside.

No room service after Match ! No food available after match in bar...too late to go out..perhaps a pre order and collect or at least a snack vending machine. Mot planned for that.
Staff were amazingly friendly and efficient..beverages and fresh milk and a fridge brilliant. Location of course as Chelse fan's!

Taking a bath using their washing products was very difficult!

There was no shampoo and Body wash in Room . when we requested for it we were told to use hand wash in place of that , strange !

I didn't feel very secure. I checked in and about 10 minutes later a member of staff unlocked my door with me in the room. It was an honest mistake but as a woman travelling alone, I didn't feel safe. It was quite difficult to find the correct hotel reception and it wasn't clear which one I should go to to check in. The escalator was broken.
The room was spacious and good value for money. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The check in was a complete nightmare asked us for a £50 deposit on the room took it 3 times off our cards and kept saying it was declined even though it showed as pending in our account

Calls to reception 3x went unanswered. Unfortunately no lights would come on in my room. I got to the room at 5.25pm with 35 minutes to get changed to attend a national award ceremony. No answer to my call in reception so went back down - reception said they would send maintenance. At 5.40pm went back down to reception explaining I now had 20 mins to get ready for black tie do. At 5.45pm one of the staff came to my room to check my lights werent working and helped me move to another room. Had 7 minutes to get ready so no time for a shower. Then when we got back at 1.30am we weren't able to order drinks and also my room card wouldn't let me in my room so again had to go back to reception to get the card sorted. Other than this, hotel great.
Great sized room - very clean and bed comfy. Loved the tea and biscuits - please keep the biscuits as so many places stopping this and when you have to get straight out after a long day (stated at 4.30am that morning for me) sometimes you need a quick snack to keep you going. Love the move away from plastic water bottles too.
