Unfortunately there was one thing that left us disappointed which was on our first morning we had ordered breakfast baguettes to our room, as we were getting up early to leave for walking Snowdon. This breakfast never arrived and when we went down to investigate where it was, it turned out we had been grouped in with another group of guests who had cancelled their room service the night before. The kitchen were able to rustle us up some bacon sandwiches before we left but it wasn't the sausage and hash brown baguette that we'd ordered the night before and were looking forward to. I did contact Julie once we'd arrived home about this matter, unfortunately her and her husband had had some family issues to attend to over the weekend so could only apologise for the mistake and I accept that sometimes these things happen.

Check-in was easy as Julie had been in touch well before our stay to discuss how we could check-in, it was explained very thoroughly and on arrival we checked in no problem. The location was ideal as we'd got friends staying in the hotel on the high street so it was a short walk to meet them and to get to all the amenities in the town. The bed was comfy and the bath in the ensuite was a very welcome addition after we'd walked mount Snowdon in terrible rain and wind. Breakfast on the second morning was delicious and we couldn't fault it.

Very nice B&B, well decorated in a traditional way. No cheap or ugly, modern furniture. Perfectly located near center of the village, right next to hiking trails and right next to train and sherpa bus station. Owners very friendly and competent.

Immaculately clean, quiet, very comfortable beds. My son an I where racing at GYG and it was probably one of the best stays that we’ve had. Bacon rolls on the way to the track early in the morning were just perfect.

Julie and the team were wonderful and the room was even better than expected with beautiful views. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful. Shops and restaurants only 5 minutes away. We were there for a wedding nearby so will return to explore the area more. Wouldn't hesitate to book Church Hill House again.

Personally just that it was up a hill as my husband struggled.

Somewhere to hang a coat in the room

Location gorgeous, just off the main drag through Betws y Coed, easy to find and loads of parking. Room clean and tidy, shower great. Breakfast fabulous, lots of choice and good portions
