Breakfast was just ok. However, they wanted to charge me an extra £5 to have the cooked option: I had already paid for breakfast and found this an unnecessary method of trying to get even more money out of their guests. The property is very tired, decoration wise and absolutely no effort has been put into making the outside back yard usable for the guests - my window looked out onto this and it was a dump; clearly no one takes any care of it.

Conveniently located hotel in Bloomsbury. Spacious room - I did pay a lot more for a bigger room, mind you. Staff were pleasant enough, without going that extra mile to make my stay better.

No significant issues. The hotel fitted its star rating and was very good value for the price paid.

Good central location in the Bloomsbury area, adjacent to the Britsh Museum and with restaurants nearby. Bus stops and Underground stations within walking distance. The street was quiet; no problem with noise at both the front and the rear of the hotel. Very good breakfast with plenty of choice for a continental breakfast, with hot dishes avilable to order. Friendly, welcoming staff attentive to all aspects of service. We were upgraded to Executive rooms and enjoyed the extra space.

We didn't get the room booked and when we asked we were told there were no other rooms. Our room was in the basement with the laundry room and all the staff congregating and chatting there. We had no view but everyone on the street could look into our room. Genius level at Booking.com not as advertised.

The location was good for our visit.

Decor tired.bath was ridiculous.incredibly slow water pressure and water warm rather than hot It took literally half an hour to achieve four inches of not very warm water in the bath.room cluttered with furniture that was too big.none of the above acceptable in a not cheap hotel which seems to think a lot of itself without justification.

Room, although clean was very tired. Peeling paint and wall paper. Bathroom very rundown with chipped enamel for example. Really in need of refurbishment. Mattress too firm for me but OK for my partner.

Location and price fabulous. Literally around the corner from the British Museum and not far from Euston train station. Breakfast okay. Room large and clean. Public areas very hot.

Was quite noisy out the front, but then I live in a very quiet area. Beware that the bed is hard, a topper wouldn’t go amiss at all. Breakfast was included in the price and apparently only meant continental! Breakfast is breakfast in my world unless the description states otherwise.

Great location. Staff were very helpful. Nice sized rooms with a large bed and a good shower. Good air con too the room wasn’t baking hot.

A thicker better quality topper on the bed in room 104 would undoubtedly make it a much more comfortable stay.

We liked the hotel generally. Very clean with a good bathroom and the location was perfect for us. However, we have marked it down on 'comfort' as, although we prefer a firm mattress, the bed in room 104 was bordering on hard, with a super thin topper/protector.
