Duvet cover and dressing robes were worn with holes in them. Expected breakfast to be much better. Disliked paying that price for a room then having to pay an extra £10 pp for the spa access.

The reception staff I felt weren't very helpful and restaurant staff member when asked could we sit their with a reply no it reserved and 5 minutes later gave it to another couple who had no reservations and which we had reservations.

The leisure staff member was so helpful and bubbly.

Being told we would have to pay £10 each for every session in the pool. The chemical smell at the lift. Having a hand towel with mascara on it left as clean. Only 1 cup in room.

The room was spacious and the bed very comfortable. The breakfast waiting staff were very helpful. The receptionist.

Had reported a bedside light not working on arrival and it was never fixed or replaced. As a reader I was unable to read at night. A little disappointed as I mentioned it several times.

The thermal room could use a little fixing up, doors hard to open, buttons not working, some facilities eg the hydro pool only one area was working. The bed was really uncomfortable at night

Serenity room in the spa was to die, it was amazing and the staff couldn't do enough for you. Food in the restaurant was lovely and quick service.

The young inexperienced bar staff were hard work, almost afraid to take an order and a few times they actually left me standing at bar and went off somewhere else with no explanation or apology as to "I'll be back in a minute"

Setting was beautiful and room very clean and tidy, our evening meal was fantastic...great handy location for us and front desk staff very helpful..

There were just a few little niggly things for us. Our room was really cold when we arrived and took a few hours to warm up which was a shame. The bathroom facilities were very underwhelming, the shower was very poor, no power at all, practically had to run around in it to get wet 😂. Our room was the last in the hotel, furthest away from the WiFi router I imagine, so the signal wasn't great and very slow.

The food was fantastic, and the staff were very warm and welcoming. The ambience of the hotel was lovely and despite there being a wedding on one of the days, the dinner service was great, really couldn't fault it. Surrounding area was really pretty even in the winter, peaceful and the very epitome of a country hotel.

Staff were very nice but restaurant's evening service was a bit disorganized, and we had to ask for a couple of things more than once. All good once they got there.

Really lovely Hotel and Spa. Fair price, excellent large room, good gym and spa facilities, good breakfast included.

Evening staff during our meal lacked personality......obviously not happy at work. Food was tasty but portion sizes very disappointing........4 small onion rings £3.90! Really? My wife ordered a chicken ceasar salad which was no more than a starter portion....£15! I know there are cut backs but people should get what they pay for. We both left the table still hungry. Some of the furniture in the bar was disgusting.......stained and smelly. This sounds harsh but its honest...........hotel should get it cleaned. Shortage of robes .......none in our room (suite) and ony tatty beltless ones provided for our spa day.

The spa was enjoyable. The room was large and comfortable....nice view out over the countryside. The breakfast was really good and the staff at reception and breakfast were brilliant.....really helpful and friendly. Barman was a lovely guy.....good craic!

To use the pool facilities there was an additional ridiculous charge. The stay was expensive enough as it was. The dinner menu did not have much choice.

The room and bathroom was a good size. Room was clean but in areas of our room could’ve done with some TLC like some areas of the carpet and the wallpaper being glued down in some areas. the hotel was very quiet which was great and outside of our room had a little balcony with outdoor table and chairs which was nice as when we stayed the weather was very hot.
