Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.

Room too hot, couldn’t control as hot pipe running through the bedroom. Bathroom and carpet were very tired. Couldn’t get cold water - came out warm.

Rooms a little dated, bathroom door being glass and gaps between door and wall not very private . Not enough milk and no complimentary water bottles
Location, fab restaurant menu, really friendly staff, well stocked bar . Comfortable seating and a lovely atmosphere .

Room very outdated and did not look like the images advertised. When we checked in we were told we has been upgraded complimentary. The room we were given did not resemble the pictures for the room booked, nevermind upgraded. The room was extremely hot- the radiator was off. We had to have the window open to have a comfortable nights sleep and the outside traffic/people were very noisy. Room is very small and was not value for money. Hallway/stairways to the rooms outdated.
Bar/restaurant area of the hotel is lovely and very modern. The room had a lovely modern bathroom which was very large.

Toilet defective and when reported to reception, staff not express surprise! Bathroom was tired and in need of refreshment. Car parking is a lottery and expensive.

New carpet laid and room needs a good hoover. Fluff behind door. Toilet door does fit in door frame.

Rooms clean but very dated and I think a little over priced for what they were. Was a wedding at the hotel so the bar area was very noisy during the day. There was security on in the evening and we didn’t feel comfortable in the bar area because people were drunk and loud so we went to our room.

The executive rooms were a bit tired. Lacking sockets, the stair carpet to second floor going threadbare. No lift or offer to carry cases. The wooden area around the bed is a tripping hazard in the dark. The large shower head had very poor power, there was no cold at all coming through so was scalding and I had to get out and run a bath. There are raw plugs in the wall. Needs refreshing room 502

Was near a fire door in the coriander till about 0100 kept banging as people where coming through it then started again about 6:30 in the morning Breakfast to expensive in my eyes

Room was a little dated, hat to dodge wet paint on the way out of the room as corridor was being painted. Although the guy painting was helpful and made sure I got past without incident.

We had an executive room but it was tired and in need of an update. The velvet settee was worn and marked. The wood panelling round the bed is slippy. The shower needs regrouting - poor for the price charged and only view of car park
The restaurant has lovely ambiance and the food served is great and well presented

No parking, & wouldn't allow me to book any beforehand. No breakfast included. Lots of other people paid far less than me. It's OK, but not great.
Bawtry is lovely. Good location for my needs. Lively bar.
