It is a bit clinical, not seeing a person at all when you check in, although the key box worked fine.

Very clean. Nicely furnished. Everything worked. The price! The upgrade.

Not only my room, but the shared spaces, were beautiful and well-appointed. There was a lot of thought and care that went into making it comfortable and aesthetically pleasing. The organization for an after-hour arrival was well thought out.

The studios have kitchenettes where you are asked to clean kitchen items as you use them. The rooms would benefit from a washing up brush or sponge to facilitate that, as all of the items in the kitchen weren’t very clean when I checked in and I couldn’t really clean them as I used them without a brush or sponge. The rooms are advertised as suitable for 4 people but certain items such as cutlery, glassware etc weren’t provided in quantities of 4, which would make it impossible for a family to eat together. Perhaps where it was Christmas time there wasn’t a housekeeping service at any point in my 7 day stay - a shame as it would have been lovely to have the bathroom/room freshened up at some point in the 7 days I was there. I wasn’t notified that the kitchen/reception would be closed over Christmas/New Year until I arrived on the 23rd. My brother who was also staying in the hotel told me, as he had thankfully been contacted and advised, but it would have influenced my decision when choosing a hotel should I have known. That being said, I would choose to return to Churchill Court at a different point in the year when housekeeping resumed and the dining room was open, as this hotel does have a lovely family-owned feel.

I stayed in one of the studios from Dec 23rd through to Dec 30th. I had originally planned to leave on Dec 27th, but after developing stomach flu over Christmas, I was happy to be able to extend my stay in the same room for a further 3 days. Yan (owner/manager) even offered me a discounted rate for the extended portion of my stay and rustled me up some basic food items as I was staying at Churchill Court alone and being so ill, I was unable to go out for supplies. I really, really appreciated this gesture. The room and bathroom were a great size and the hotel was decorated beautifully for Christmas.

My tv didn’t have signal which was a bit frustrating. The room is very small but luckily it was just me in the double room.

The staff were so friendly and helpful. I would stay again based entirely on their warm welcome. The Christmas tree and decorations in the dining room were a lovely touch. We stayed here to visit Blenheim Palace’s Christmas - perfect location!

Breakfast is not available before 8:00, and there is no access to food or drink from the cafe in the later afternoon or evening. There is tea and coffee provided in the room, and you can bring something in and put it in the refrigerator in your room.

Full English and cereals, latte, juice and pastry was very nice. I particularly enjoyed the helpfulness and friendliness of the staff. Not just about my stay, but sorting out public transportation issues and off premises dining. The location, right across the road from the wonderful Community Path, is so convenient. I walked to Blenheim Palace my first morning via the path. Beautiful. And this lodging is so quiet. Lovely.

Very little! More towels would have been good but we neglected to ask as of course they would have been provided had we done so. Maybe better tea and coffee making facilities in the room itself. But these are quibbles and would never put me off returning.

A lovely friendly clean quiet comfortable hotel, amazingly positioned mere feet from an entrance to the glorious Bleinheim Estate.

Just a few small things - no towels provided for first night ( located some in the linen cupboard ) . Although left towels to be changed for day two - they weren’t . Used glasses were also left dirty for day two . If these things were sorted it would have enhanced our stay . Bedroom decour a little tired .

Excellent location for Blenheim Horse trials .Breakfast cooked to order and of high quality . Staff very friendly . Clean entrance area - seemed to have been recently had new carpet so felt very welcoming .
