I couldn’t get the shower to regulate at a good temperature, just very hot.

The overall feel of Hills Farm was warm and pleasant with lovely accommodation and amazing views. Very clean and comfortable and the staff were friendly and very welcoming. The onsite restaurant was very good, so much so that we cancelled our reservation elsewhere and dined on location.

The reception seemed unprofessional and took ten minutes to sort out a room , surprising as there were only a few guests there. Also room not fully prepared with no toiletries or bin bag in kitchen and very little tea and coffee. Also room needed a bit of sprucing up, looking a bit tired. some staff were wearing dirty clothes which didn't create a good impression in the restaurant/kitchen.

The area and views were amazing. Most of the staff were pleasant and friendly . Room was comfortable. Restaurant nice and good ,tasty food.

Unfortunately the cleanliness of the property seemed to lack a little, as there was a fair bit of dust within the bedroom and the restaurant toilets were fairly dirty. The fridge in the room was quite loud on and off as well.

The location was amazing, such beautiful views. The staff were so lovely and welcoming, helpful too. The hot tub and sauna, that were hidden away for privacy were amazing and just what we needed! The food at the restaurant was really nice too, both for dinner and breakfast the next morning, and the prices were very reasonable!

The only thing that wasn't great was we had a young family stay above us and the noise early hours wasn't great at all. I did approach the family but they didn't seem to care

Wifi stopped as I was watching Arsenal in the champions league in extra time. was gone 22.00 so normally wouldn't be an issue. But being an Arsenal fan that was horrible timing. Not a major issue as I got around it.

Elaine was superb, I wasn't able to make breakfast either morning, So Elaine offered to make me a sandwich to take with me to work at the end of her shift, Absolute super star and a joy to talk with. Location is fantastic and rooms were very comfy.

The hot water took a while to come through and could have been a little hotter. The door was missing to the ice box,which meant nothing stayed frozen. (sorry forgot to mention)

Fantastic location in a wonderful setting and plenty of character. The breakfast was fresh and not at all greasy. A great way to start the day. Steve is. Charming guy and is very attentive.

I travelled wtih my 9 year old daughter for a 'Mum & Daughter' break - we also took our Vizsla with us. The team were very welcoming and helpful with suggestions of things to do with the dog and us. We had a brilliant stay and will be back.

Our two meals at the restaurant were very nice and reasonably priced. Hosts were friendly and accommodating of our sometimes overly vocal dog. Wine was excellent and good choice offered. Room was cosy clean and comfortable.

The room was very hot, with not a lot of air in the day, no air con, other than that nothing bad to say.

The room we stayed in was very clean and spacious. The setting of the place was lovely with it being situated on a farm. The cost of the stay with breakfast included was worth what we paid. Perfect stay for 1 night!
