The only issue we had was the beds were pretty uncomfortable, both pillow & mattress are solid. So I’d say maybe bring your own pillow if you want a decent nights sleep. All down to personal preference though.

The property was easy to reach, clean and ready for our arrival. The host showed us around and was easy to contact if you have any issues. It’s a 20minute walk to ally pally with a shop en route. Wood Green and Alexander palace tube stations are a 5 minute walk so super convenient Would definitely stay again.

It would have been good to know about the option to access the lock box earlier, as this made arrival a bit stressful having to get international roaming working first and get these details.

The host initially wanted to meet us in person, but we arrived quite late, and they instead provided lock box details over SMS which turned out to be quite convenient. The property was well-located, near to a high street, a tube stop, and a number of buses. We also were able to walk up to Alexandra Palace and see the fireworks for NYE.

Much bigger rooms than expected from the photos, nice livable terrace, and quite near to buses, underground and supermarket/coffee shops. The area around is green and wide, not crowded, so quite relaxing.

After checking all my emails and msg received from the agency,I didn't find any clear information about how to proceed with the check-in. It looks to me like someone was supposed to receive us and give me the keys since we didn't know which flat was ours. I didn't enjoy particularly that I received the wrong Pin number to open the box and do the check-in,so my family and I had to wait outside of the property over an hour or more ( The first thing we did was try to open the 4 boxes outside,without success ) We were supposed to check in from 13:00, and I sent my first msg at 12:30, to inform of our arrival and I didn't receive any answer,I didn't enjoy that very much neither. Sorry Over an hour later, we finally get inside,to a great house I have to say! Now I'm saying this in case you want to do something about it for the future. Thank you

Everything was simply perfect to cover my family needs, good location, very comfortable and big house,good transport connections. A place where I will definitely go back 😌 And of course I recommend it to others!!

No one met us at the door on time to check in. Had to call the number given and was answered by a gentleman who gave instructions to get the keys inside a coded locker.

The balcony was massive. Location - superb very close to the underground station. Convenient for shops and restaurants only within walking distance.

The apartment was not as advertised. We had booked a two bed, two bath apartment, and the one provided had only one bathroom. While the apartment was a good one, the pictures did not match the reality either: room shapes are different, so they aren't just out of date. Communication wasn't good. Some messages on the booking.com system were left unanswered - it turned out to be better to text using the mobile number, but of course then you have no record within the booking system in case of dispute. Advance information said we would be met at the entrance: instead there was a phone call - not ideal next to traffic noise and when struggling with luggage. We were also told to bring a passport as ID, but since no-one met us this was of no use and carrying it unnecessarily is simply a risk. The safe was not working - it appeared that a previous guest had left it locked. A promise to get it fixed while we were there was not carried out. The whole place could do with having a handyman brought in for a few hours to fix several small issues. A kitchen cupboard door has a defective top hinge and drops down when opened; the bathroom door once had a hook on the back but now there's just a hole where it was; the bathroom window won't shut completely; the veneer on one bathroom cupboard is damaged; the apartment door has a working lock but the original Yale lock isn't working, and the handle you should be able to use to pull the door open is lying forlornly on the window ledge nearly. There are also a few areas of tired paintwork, and at some point someone has made a small hole in the lounge wall which is stuffed with a tissue. It really wouldn't take that much work to get this all dealt with, and then this would be a 10/10 stay.

The property was clean, well equipped, really spacious for London, and convenient to the tube for travel into the centre. The balcony with a view of Alexandra Palace was a bonus. We asked for a parking place and were provided with one, which is very useful given the price of local alternatives for parking.

I asked for a cot for my 2 year old which I was told would be provided but wasn’t. I enquired close to my trip to confirm the sofa in the living room converted into a sofa bed. They confirmed that it did but didn’t leave any bedding for it. On arrival, the handle to the bedroom window was left broken, as if maybe a cleaner or someone had accidentally done it. We repaired it ourselves. Finally, the furniture on the lovely veranda was very rusty. Again, not keen on letting my 2 year off near this. Patio sets are cheap as chips and I would suggest replacements are looked into.

Almost everything was good so hate to point out negatives but I think they are worth pointing out below. The apartment was great and we’d stay here again, but a few improvements are needed.

Appartment could do with some TLC. No blind in bathroom over bath/shower. Blinds and curtains on most windows need replaced. Balcony was great size and could be great during summer but needs a clean up. Nothing major but some TLC needed to make it a great place to stay.

Appartment had everything we needed. Easy check in and out. 5 mins to underground. Supermarket 2 min walk. Plenty places to eat/drink. Apartment block was very quiet.
