This is a nice place to stay. The town centre is a short walk away, with many shops and restaurants. Our room was spacious, and the bed was comfortable. Despite being located near a main road, the Deangate Motel was relatively quiet at night, with minimal traffic noise.

The door was electronic locking only and this did not feel safe. I would not like to stay alone. A simple internal lock would have greatly improved my stay

Rain on the Velux window was so loud 😩 can't do much about that!. Four of the milk capsules were out of date and we had ro change them. The shower head slipped down the pole and into the wall with the pressure of the water.

The advertisement stated “soundproof” but the doors slamming on neighbouring rooms were very loud.

Maybe a better mattress but all good really.

The large room with ensuite was especially helpful as there was a small table and chairs to use for breakfast if ordered or if you fancy getting a takeout. There was also ample room to have the dog as well. The heating was efficient and easy to alter. The motel is situated in a quiet area not far from the town centre and lovely park with easy access to the main road. The staff were helpful and very friendly.Well recommended.

Lovely big rooms, comfortable beds, armchair and table and chairs too, quiet location, spotlessly clean, and thoughtful touches that you often have to request elsewhere such as a non-slip mat for the walk-in shower. Staff were friendly, kind and efficient.

Wish there was sockets on either side of the bed and the shower pressure settings didn't seem to do anything.

The room was clean and tidy, amble room to store our stuff in. The bed nice and comfy.

I got up in the morning for a shower and it didn't work,,i was told later that I should have turned it on at the isolation switch,,?????an isolation switch is there for a reason. Why was it off????. Bit disappointed I didn't get offered a partial refund. I've stayed there a few times and things have been spot on.

Ideal location. Dog friendly. Good size room- comfy, clean and had everything we needed. We arrived late so had a contactless check in arranged which was ideal for us. Lots of parking.

Booking stated they should have been a bath, but there wasn’t. People in the room next door had tv very loud and noisy until around 2 am, could hear everything. More milk, tea, coffee sugar would have been useful, but we probably should have asked for more!

Good size room, bed was comfy. Large shower. Windows that open. Tea and coffee and hairdryer in the room. Good lighting and mirrors.

When I called to check in, I was informed that it was a shared bathroom with another couple. I had to pay an extra £13 for a room with an ensuite as I had an 11 year old granddaughter with me and I didn’t think this was appropriate. It was not stated on my booking that this was a shared bathroom room.

The room was clean and tidy. The bed was comfortable. It didn’t take long for the room to warm up tea and coffee facilities were good and the bathroom was clean and tidy
