Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Rooms were small with not much storage space and so was the bathroom but it was all perfectly adequate for a few nights. Wouldn’t put us off staying here again.
Spotlessly clean. Comfortable beds and good quality bedding and towels. Friendly staff. Good food. Nice little bar with very reasonable prices. Free parking. Quiet, sound proofed rooms. A short walk to the city centre with all its attractions.

It was a good 10 minute walk to the Albert Dock and City Centre. Although that was ok for us as the weather was ok. You may require a taxi if the weather wasn't so good. Our room was quite small and the shower was very small.
Free parking and there seemed to be plenty of parking available. Clean and comfortable room. There were bar/restaurant facilities if required. Friendly staff. Easy check-in. It was quiet and our room had a lovely look over the Mersey.

No lift to get to second floor with luggage although staff did offer to help. Tiny facilities

The bathroom is tiny, it's like a caravan bathroom with very little room. Breakfast was good, but some of the hot food had run out and wasn't replaced.
A great location, the car park was definitely a bonus and no issues with finding a space. Staff were friendly, and the bed was comfy. Good value for money.

I thought the shower room was not fit to swing a cat, I have seen better shower rooms in a caravan!!! The water was always hot but the towels were OK if you were a size 6!! I didn't know that the restaurant bar was a Sports bar!! Every time we came back there was football playing on the screen at full blast!!! NOT EVERYONE IS INTO FOOTBALL!!!
I liked the fact that it was close to the Arena that we were seeing a show but otherwise it was a bit far out for the centre. Nothing really around us to see . The Hotel itself was very clean, and the staff were very friendly. The breakfast was great but could be hotter.

The bathroom was tiny.

The only negative I have about the hotel is the bathroom in the room, myself and my fiancée found it to be just a little too small. I'm sure it's fine for just one night. I think where we stayed for three it was just not enough for our needs.
We really liked the location, it's really closed to all the places we wanted to visit. The free parking is great, the staff let us park when we arrvied which was a couple of hours before check in and the same when we left. Staff were all very friendly and helpful.

There was nothing we didn't like. A safe in the room would have been handy but not essential
Dolby was in a very good position to get to shops and restaurants. It's position on the river was very relaxing. Staff were all very helpful and pleasant. Breakfast was very good with lots of choice and hot food was hot not lukewarm like at some places we were going to a concert at M and S arena which was about 4/5 minutes walk away. So very convenient for our stay.

The only things I didn't like about the hotel is that the rooms are very small, no lifts and a 20mins walk from city center, otherwise every other thing is excellent

The door outside the room was annoying as it was banging everytime used throughout the night. A soft close one would be much better for sleeping

The shower was quite small and accidentally hit the tap many times my first night. Only plugs available were on the small desk, would be nice to have something to charge devices beside the bed.
Staff were friendly and helpful. Check in and out were both fast and easy. Breakfast buffet was well stocked with both hot and cold foods. Room was clean and comfortable.

Just that there was no sockets by The bed . Bathroom is a wet room so whole room get wet for ages after someone showers

Bathrooms are small, not very much room in the shower. No much space to store clothes
