We were promised signature cookies on arrival, there weren’t any available at 13:00 or 20:00. We were promised some for the next morning instead, there weren’t any. The male on reception desk was unnecessarily over-engaging with a man checking in ahead of us when we got back at 20:00, and took so long with him (we didn’t even get an “I’ll be with you in a moment”), we were left waiting over 10 minutes, so we gave up. One of the cleaners was rather grumpy, all the others were excellent. Hannah on reception was excellent.

Room was ok. Lacked a pack of biscuits (as no cookies on reception), there were no water bottles, had to get those from reception. Breakfast was excellent Bed was clean and comfortable Bathroom was very good

The Jacuzzi wasn't working and the £5 charge for using the facilities, the swimming pool was a bit too small

Staff welcome has been great, a warm cookie per person. Staff super professional and friendly. The structure is professionally cleaned. Brand new bathroom in my room. Good value for money.

Although the hotel room was clean, the swimming pool and changing room were not, in fact i was very disappointed with these facilities.

The hotel had all the facilities we wanted. Travelling alone with a small child, it felt safe and was perfect that everything was close. The food and service was great and a reasonable price too.

Bar area was far too cold went for a drink but had to move round to reception as was too cold to sit in the bar area

Just not enough staff about - had to wait at reception along with a number of other people at the 3pm check in time. Had to ask for top-up of food and drink at the buffet breakfast - again, just not enough staff around. The vegetarian sausages were a joke - took one look and thought they would be hard and cardboard like - but decided to take one bite - I should have believed my eyes - had to spit the food out it was so horrible.

The staff were helpful when we saw them. The bedroom was of a good standard overall and bedding was of a reasonable quality. The gym had a good range of equipment.

The noise in the corridorof other guest arriving late and chatting, knocking on our door at 5am. Maybe you could put some notices up and remind people that other customers can hear everything.

Room had everything we needed. Comfortable bed, tea and kettle in an easy accessible place, good shower, big towls, good bathroom products. Front desk immediately got us a taxi on departure. Breakfast was good, incuding the coffee. Staff cheerful and welcoming.

The property was lovely some of the wallpaper was coming off the wall down the hallway. Could do with some TLC Also room service didn’t really work we had to go down and order as the two options to order was not being answered. We also asked for two extra pillows that were supposed to be delivered to the room this didn’t happen

We liked the idea of the pool but unfortunately it was closed the day we booked it due to chlorine levels we didn’t get our money back 🙁 On arrival we received warm cookies which was a lovely touch ☺️ There was a gentleman who worked in the restaurant who was exceptional and the meal in the steak house was so good

A male member of staff at the spa was rude and had a poor attitude. The spa was very tired and not in a good state of repair. Our room could have been cleaner - we complained and staff were very reasonable and apologetic and offered options and compensation.

We received a lovely warm welcome. The hotel staff were really nice. Shower was powerful. Breakfast was good.

Have to pay to use the pool. The restaurant is well known, but breakfast is good but food disappointing in the past we feel. Picture showed a more luxurious version of what we actually got, as a double room and a lounge area. Just 2 rooms with an open connected door. But it did the job nicely.

Stayed here a few times. Cookie on arrival and rooms always reasonable quality, always clean and ample parking. If you want character, this is not for you, but a good hotel with great facilities.

The charges to use the leisure facilities is off putting. It would be better if incorporated in the prices of the room . I choose the hotel thinking we will use the spa, jacuzzi and my children swim. We never did because of the charges.
