Would suggest to staff to point out that uber is available and cheap in area if required to go to nearby venue. when initially asked reception they kindly did suggest a local taxi company however at a very high cost as they come from rugby. But uber is readily available and a fraction of the cost.

unfortunately i paid £20 extra for two zfold beds for the kids that were dangerous and 3 kids plus my wife had to sleep on one bed. springs missing, so there were big gaps that the kids could fall through, metal rods sticking out that could of literally seriously hurt them

There were no problems at all. It is a budget range hotel, so the rooms are simple but have everything needed for a short stay.

A very comfortable stay in connection with an equine event being run nearby. Excellent meal for 14 people in the evening and a very nice breakfast which is available from 06.00 for early starters. The hotel is very clean and the staff were extremely helpful.

The room could do with some maintenance. Some of the light didn't work. The reception on the TV was very poor. Kept going distorted and blocky. The aerial output on the wall above the TV wasn't fixed to the wall, maybe that's the problem? I've had far better rooms for less money.

We wanted a cocktail but was advised by the bar staff on duty that it was not possible, no reason why, but we thought they probably didn't have the experience. Was a little disappointed.

The room was ok but the bathroom was appalling. The shower was barely functioning. Don’t plan to wash your hair here! And the artwork in the bathroom - why bother?

The bedroom was freezing and there was no way to change the temperature, it was very easy to hear others in the corridor and quite noisy in evenings. Bedrooms pretty dated and small.

Getting in/out onto A45 can be tricky. Turn is abrupt and easy to miss. Beds too soft for me but that's my preference. Bathroom bit tatty. Restaurant/bar area large but mostly empty and bit soulless.

Easy parking and EV chargers available. Staff friendly and room a good size. Breakfast very good and plentiful. Large smart TV in room.
