Well sited cottage with great views.

On the less positive side, although having tremendous potential, the property feels slightly tired. Most of the furniture is sturdy and well built but well worn. The bath appeared to be dirty but on closer inspection appeared to be quite worn. There were also a number of minor niggles such as the cold tap in the kitchen dripping unless in a certain position (not totally off) and the window in the bedroom which once unlocked could not be kept in a slightly open position but dropped to leave it far too wide for the time of year. A manual for the cooker would also be helpful as although most of it could be worked out intuitively, use of the grill required downloading a manual from the internet. We enjoyed our stay but it could have been improved by attention to the points raised above.

On the positive side, the cottage is nicely sited with exceptional views from all sides. The location too is excellent with its siting making it an easy drive to a large number of local attractions, such as the Severn Valley Railway (5’), Dudmaston Hall (5’), the Severn Valley Country Park and West Midlands Safari Park (15’), Black Country Living Museum (35’) and Welshpool and Llanfair Railway (58’). The bed is large and comfortable and the kitchen is well laid out. The shower is comfy and there is plenty of hot water.

Check-in was a bit tricky. It was raining and dark when I arrived and I couldn’t get the box open to retrieve the keys. Maybe a little shelter over it so it’s easier for guests.

Beautiful views from the property. Very comfortable with good facilities. Lots of brochures provided showing all the local attractions.

Slight hiccup in communication meant that our bed requirements were not met, but that was easily sorted. Leaking front window during heavy rain. Noise and vibration from utility in the main house. Puddles and slippery surfaces in the courtyard when wet. We arrived New Year's Day and some summary info on local shops, restaurants, pubs would have been helpful.

Comfortable and cosy cottage style annex.. Good location for Bridgnorth and the Mill Barns wedding venue. Friendly owner. Well equipped kitchen, although we only used it briefly. Free parking. Various bed options and nice sized bedroom, living room and bathroom.

The cottage was very clean and great location, everything was within a 5/10 minute drive from the property. Couldn’t fault it at all, we were greeted by an 8 legged friend we later called Barry however he was very polite and kept himself to himself… all in a great place to stay! We also went to explore the beautiful bridge north and had a great day out. I also recommend the ‘Blits Victorian town’ this is about 20/30 minutes drive from the cottage.

Lovely and quiet location away from everything. Lovely views from each window. We had options for Netflix, Prime to watch in the nights. Aldis supermarket was like 10mins away. Telford shopping centre about 30mins away. So many shops, we had a good day there. They had a Flip Out adventure, so the kids enjoyed themselves for 2hrs. Shrewsbury was a bit further but such a nice town to visit. We had a good stay here.

This is hard but just to be constructive - The picture of the cottage is miss leading. You stay in the annex next door. The sofa bed is not that comfortable. In the shower, the dials stick out, which keep scratching you - all 3 are minor issues and did not really affect our stay.

Convenient location. Out of the way. Very quiet. Very clean. Bedroom very comfortable. Facilities excellent. Easy to find. Exceeded our expectations - thank you

Directions to avoid the Ford would be good as scrapped bottom of car. Need to book local taxis a few days in advance for functions due to few taxi firms around..

Excellent accommodation, lovely cottage with everything you would need. Used as a base for a wedding nearby.
