Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Location and venue were great, perfect mix of accommodation and great food, plus all the staff were friendly and helpful. Facilities were great too.

We absolutely loved our stay!! We wanted to show our foreign friends that were in the UK for a trip the lovely English countryside and were hoping our stay will add to the quintessential British experience. And we definitely were not disappointed. The rooms were stunning, the staff were beyond attentive and lovely (every single one) and the food was delicious. Plus the cosy fireplace truly added to the atmosphere. Will definitely try to come back here again in the future.

United KingdomOnly minor things. The extractor fan in the bathroom made a lot of noise but informed the staff so they can fix it. Room was very warm until I found the power switch for the heater but all good overall.
Breakfast was excellent. Bed comfortable and room clean. Bathroom was great and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Very little to complain about at all. Great overall and would definitely stay again.

There is a regular bus stop to Oxford and places direct outside the hotel. The breakfast could have been hotter.

The rooms were lovely. I really enjoyed the breakfast. It was in close proximity to Blenheim Palace so perfect for visiting there.
