We loved our stay at Earlston house and Aiden was exceptionally accommodating and friendly. Lovely breakfast, and facilities were good to include a bar which we would have partaken in if we'd stayed longer. Aiden showed us the other rooms that they're currently updating and there are some superb rooms that we'd like to sample on our next trip, and for more than one night! Thanks Aiden.. You were great and we'll no doubt see you again at Earlston house soon!

Breakfast was great. Loved the way the host went above and beyond to make us feel welcome by putting out maps and sections from guide books to match our interests. Didn't use the hot tub but nice that robes were provided. Great view of the fireworks on the front from our room while we were there. Lots of information for local attractions and very knowledgeable hosts.

Great breakfast ,great hosts very welcoming just great people in fact. so stay here was very comfortable. Hot tub was an added bonus to our stay. Aiden was also very helpful in other areas such as things to do,places to eat and visit. Can not fault the hospitality we received and even our dog was made very welcome. Good location as well (roundham head) situated between Paignton and Goodrinton not far to walk to either beach or Paignton harbour

Such a lovely place and we got a warm welcome from Adrian straight away. I went with my girlfriend and our room was amazing, a really good size with an amazing bed and bathroom and even little additions like some biscuits when we got into the room! The location was great, only just a 10 minute walk into town so it was easy to come back to at night. The breakfast was great and Adrian went the extra mile to accommodate us being vegetarians! We would definitely come back again next time we come to Paignton - and next time we are getting in the hot tub!!

Great location, lovely hotel, clean and tidy. Rooms were a good size with plenty of storage. Breakfast was exceptional, really good quality food. It was nice to have a garden and the hot tub was amazing after a long day out.

Our room although very clean, is in need of a little TLC, the toilet was a little wobbly and didn’t really seem attached to the cistern/back. The shower was pretty awful, hardly any pressure so it was tricky to wash my hair effectively, we did notice a sign on the wall about the pressure but it appear that it’s down to the shower head itself so nothing could be done. The headboard at the back lights up and it was pretty but quite a bit of the wooden trim was unstuck so it looked a little shabby. It was great to see a full hanging space with plenty of hangers but it’s a very dark space and the small battery lights stuck on the wall didn’t work. I moved the chair by the window to check for rogue socks and the back leg almost fell off ! All in all it was a wonderful stay, with a little bit of a spruce up it could be amazing.

Fantastic hosts, Aidan was very welcoming and went through everything when showing us to our room, great tea and coffee making facilities, proper tea bags and fresh milk was lovely. The bedding and towels felt lovely and soft. The breakfast was amazing, you could tell it was locally produced as it was delicious and cooked to perfection and very well organised with a text service. There was a nice view from the window in the room and it was big enough for just the two of us, it was great to have a fan in the room along with the lovely smelling toiletries in the bathroom. Loved the bedside shelves with lights, great having a little place to store bits and bobs. Wi-Fi was really good and having Netflix on the Tv was excellent.

The mattress could be improved - was very springy and gave little support.

Breakfast was delicious. Bacon cooked beautifully and was thickly cut. Sausages also were great. It was a lovely personal touch to be called by our names at breakfast by the host.

We loved how accommodating they were for our dogs making it a stress free stay. Also the little extras like dog treats, bowls and poo bags. Myself and my husband were also treated to cakes. The breakfast was delicious.

Great place, the hospitality was great, the bed was absolutely perfect for a great night's sleep. The location was also great, it was just a five minute stroll away from the harbour where there is several quality bars and restaurants.
