TV did not work but I reported it just before I left. Maybe soundproofing could be improved in little coach house but would still stay again.

Shower head would be low for anyone taller than myself (5ft 3) and it would not stay when slid up.

My room was up two 1/2 flights of stairs - not a problem if you have no mobility issues or heavy luggage but worth noting there's no lift. I was disturbed by some very loud people on the street at night (possibly from the pub a couple of doors down?) so not great if you are a light sleeper if your room is on the main road side. Bring earplugs! Duvet was too thin.

Nicely decorated room and very compact but well appointed ensuite. Liked the heated towel rail and abundance of towels. Great location, 15/20 min walk to the heart of the city centre. Friendly staff and nice looking restaurant, though I didn't eat there. Check out very simple.

The toilet was cold, since you keep it separate from the sink and shower you should place a heater inside.

The hairdryer didn’t work unfortunately. Just to note that the property is not wheelchair accessible due to stairs up to the room, and as a user of crutches I found the stairs a little tricky. There is an Italian restaurant downstairs that we did not use as there was limited vegetarian options. It is a highly reviewed restaurant though!

A very cosy, modern and clean room, with nice ensuite shower. The decor was lovely and it was a peaceful stay. It might have been the most comfortable hotel bed I have ever stayed on. There was a good amount of tea/coffee and towels. The location is good, about 15ish minutes walk to the castle. Not too close to the city, and was quiet on a Saturday night. Staff seemed nice!

Upon arrival the room was cold, the heating was switched off and I had to ask staff to switch it on which they did( I shouldn't have to ask, it was about 1°c outside) I woke up around 8 am to find the room getting colder. They had switched off the heating ready for an 11am departure. Trying to get us out early? It worked. When your paying £120 for the night you shouldn't have to come to a cold room or wake up to a cold room. The heating issue let the property down.

Good bathroom, very clean, bed was very comfortable though a little low. Short walk into centre of Cardiff. Staff were friendly.

If I was really nit-picking I would say the decor is a little tired but for the money it's completely within expectations. Initial grumpy person at reception was not a big deal either ;)

Fantastic location. Initial individual at reception was pretty grumpy but the girl who checked me in was excellent, efficient and very professional. Room was fantastic in a great location and outstanding value for money. My sister typically stays opposite at the Beverley but will be recommending here. Didn't have an opportunity to try the restaurant as was too busy over the weekend (Ivy Asia!) but will do so next time around. Typically I'd stay at the Hilton, Marriott or one of the faceless "big" hotels but enjoyed supporting a smaller, family business and the room had everything I needed.

My Dad stayed here on his own but I booked it for him and came with him to check in, its a guest house above a restaurant, the owner greeted us and was very Friendly, the room was newly decorated and really lovely, it had everything my dad needed.

I didn’t really understand why there was a sensor for the light in the bathroom and it would go off when I was in the shower and stay on at night longer than I wanted it to. it was a bit hot as well and I couldn’t figure out the front windows

the room was so cute! and the location was extremely convenient for Principality. the staff went above and beyond helping me with my check in as my flight got delayed and I got in really late.

A chair in the room would have been better rather than a stool. The towels were hard but luckily I brought my own.
