Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomThe size of the room. I understand that city centre real estate is at a premium but this was the smallest room we’ve had in this type of hotel. We had our son with us so the sofa bed was made up when we arrived. The room was so small that there wasn’t space to get to the window to open/close the curtains without clambering over the sofa bed. The placement of it also meant there was no way we could use the dressing table and the only chair in the room (office-type) was pushed against the wall by the end of the dressing table. This meant it was a trip hazard and we all managed to stub our toes on the chair legs while trying to get around the end of the bed. Everything else was great but the room wasn’t really suitable for more than two people.
Breakfast was great, the hotel was clean and tidy, and the staff were lovely, with a quick and easy check in/out. I also liked that access to the stairs/lifts was controlled with key cards, so it felt safe - good for families when you’re near the city centre on a weekend. The location was ideal for what we wanted, as there is a multi-storey car park next door, and the city centre, Metro Radio Arena, Life Centre museum all in easy walking distance. Would recommend.

Room was lovely and clean. Bed was very comfy so had a good sleep. Bathroom was clean and adequate with soap, shampoo and shower gel available if you had forgotten your own.

United KingdomThough the room was very clean when we arrived, the cleaning it was not very good during our stay, bed was made, towels changed, toilet roll replaced and rubbish emptied daily but no wiping of soap marks or hovering of the floors, a bit disappointing.
Staff were really nice and helpful. Location was great being just a few minutes walking from the train station and main attractions, restaurants and bars. Free breakfast.

United KingdomI was disappointed about the lack of de-caffeinated tea in my room. I was told that this is a special request which I find absurd. Looking at the supermarket shelves there are more de-caffeinated teas available than de-caffeinated coffees. I was staying in a hotel in the north of Scotland last week. This hotel is remote and only has 9 rooms but there were two different types of de-caffeinated teas available in my room without a special request.
The location was excellent for me. Everything else was good.
