We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

The breakfasts were AMAZING! The staff are all so friendly and just lovely. The food in the bar/restaurant was really good. We had such a great experience that I'd recommend this hotel to everyone that wanted a good base for North Devon and Exmoor National Park.

GermanyNo water pressure in the shower, although pressure in the faucet worked well. Owner must have put a plug into the pipe to save water, resulting in a 15 minute hair wash. It was heavily raining and water is definitely NOT a rare source. Even walls were wet and lots of very unhealthy mold visible in our ‚superior‘ room.

Our room was very well appointed, comfortable and very clean, including the ensuite. Food was exceptionally good ...we dined in the restaurant but the bar food looked delicious too. My husband appreciated the vast choice of quality whisky. We stayed over a weekend and it was lovely to see the place bustling. Very friendly staff.

United KingdomCheckin was from 3. We arrived at 4.50. We were only there for one night and we had a complimentary cream tea each, between 3-5. Had we known, we would have arrived nearer 3. I am sure that it would have been delicious.
The breakfast was excellent. The staff couldn't have been friendlier but not obtrusive. The hotel retained an old fashion charm, but had been modernised to expected standards. They have managed to get the right balance.
