We didn't like Trowbridge. The area doesn't have much to offer but Fieldways location is ideal for visiting Bath and other lovely areas of Wiltshire and Gloucestershire.

Lovely olde worlde Victorian grade II listed B&B in beautiful settings. Our room was spacious, cosy and clean. We had an issue with our toilet being blocked a couple of times but the issue was quickly resolved both times. There's a kettle with instant coffee and tea in the room. The shower cubicle could do with a little shelf/holder for your soap or shampoo but otherwise fine. The full English breakfast was ok and the staff was really polite and helpful. This is not a 5* hotel so we didn't expect luxury but we loved our stay and, for the price, cannot complain and will definitely return.

I liked the quirkiness I liked that it's different to other hotels my kids liked the pool we liked the breakfast the room we had was really big we all had our own bed I liked the table and chairs we had

Not really an issue, but the pool could have been a little warmer🙂. That didn't stop us though.

Beautiful from the outside stunning main hall and breakfast rooms. The Room we had was quite good and had a fairly large ensuite. Warm and cozy. We really enjoyed our stay.

Really kind and welcoming staff - especially the lady who welcomed us at reception and helped us with our requests (she took a picture for us too). A good range of facilities - pool, gym, breakfast included. The bedrooms were mostly spacious and the building is really beautiful, albeit a bit rundown in places.

The bed was fairly hard which meant our sleep was a bit disturbed

Staff on check in were super friendly, gave us the tour to make sure we know how to get in and out of the building once the reception door was shut, she even gave us some advice on when to go for dinner

Overall no real issues. It is a budget hotel that is conveniently located.

The welcome was very warm. The staff remembered me from a previous visit and were welcoming and showed me to my room. They made sure that I knew where everything was and the easiest way to get to my room from where my car was parked.
