We spent the last 2 nights of our vacation at Monica's place and we regretted not having more days left to spend here. Monica is such a caring host, we had nice conversations with her and she gave a lot of tips for trips in the surrounding area. And then she surprised us with a small lunchbag packed with biscuits, tea and coffee for our day trip. Furthermore the house was exceptionally clean, but being very cosy even though. I slept so good as the house is very quiet located and the bed was really comfortable. I felt like home!

Five Oaks was wonderful! My daughter and I both noticed how clean and comfortable it was, and the quiet countryside was a bonus. Monica and Adrian were really helpful and friendly, and we had lovely conversations. I would definitely choose to stay there again on another visit. Breakfast was lovely too.

Everything was exceptional - location, gorgeous accommodations, great food but especially the warm, informative and wonderful hosts! Also, very close to Derry - only a 9GBP taxi to city centre!

Monica was an absolute star, went out of her way to make sure we were welcome. after the first night it was like staying with someone we’ve known for years. The area is peaceful and quiet, with a great outdoors area. the room was cosy with a comfortable bed, hot powerful shower and filled with stuff you would need. highly recommend anyone to stay here. we will be back!

Five Oaks was definitely our best accommodation in North Ireland! Monica indulged us with a very delicious and nourishing breakfast, that left no wish unfulfilled. She was very helpful, had a lot of good advices for visiting Derry and created a warmth and comforting atmosphere in her home that had let us feel at home. She and her husband also offered us a lift to the town (with a little tour and lots of informations and a stop at a beautiful viewing point) and the next bus stop, we are very thankful for that! The room and accommodation are affectionately arranged. Hair dryer, shampoo, heating blanket - just everything is provided. Monica and her partner are hosts with all their heart and who wants to enjoy sincere hospitality, should definitely stay at Five Oaks!

Breakfast was excellent. The B&B was located in a lovely, peaceful spot - very relaxing. Monica was full of great information and hints on where to go and what to see - she was a lovely host. We highly recommend Five Oaks.

This was actually one of the best B and B's we've stayed at. Monica couldn't do enough for us, and nothing was too much trouble. The house and grounds are lovely, in a wonderfully quiet location. Everything was very clean and comfortable. Had no problems getting to sleep, the beds were exceptional. I wanted to take it home with me. Breakfast was generous and relaxing. No being hassled to eat and be out the way. Both Monica and Adrian were charming and humorous and went out of their way to make our stay very enjoyable. I would have no problems recommending Five Oaks to anyone.

Monica and Adrian routinely go above and beyond, to meet every guest’s need. Monica did our laundry, free of charge, prepared a beautiful cooked breakfast every morning, and helped with whatever we needed. I noticed they afford each person equal care and attention. The place is immaculate, and the surrounding gardens well kept.

The beds were not that comfy, and the room smelled a bit musty upon arrival.

Monica was a super kind and gracious host, she really made us feel at home, and went above and beyond to make us feel accommodated for. Warming pad in the bed was nice.

Best B&B I have been in. Beautiful house, recently renovated. Very nice room with an absolutely amazing bathroom. Very clean. The owners were extremely helpful and kind. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and was served in a cosy and beautiful room that we loved. We really enjoyed staying in Five Oaks.

This was a really enjoyable stay. The host was really friendly and able to share her own experiences and recommendations for Derry which was great. It's as a B&B really should be - the room and bathroom were clean and comfortable and it was very quiet and peaceful at night and we loved having a cooked breakfast each morning. Our host went above and beyond also supplying us with other treats in the evening and put a lot of effort in to ensuring we enjoyed our stay.

The only small problem we had was that the property is a little difficult to find even with a satnav.

This is a lovely place to stay in the countryside, but within easy reach of everything you need, providing you have transport. Monica, our host, was extremely friendly and helpful. The cooked breakfasts were excellent. We will definitely be returning.

A brilliant B&B, so welcoming. The couple treated us so well and went way over expectations. We couldn't of asked for a better place to stay and will definitely be back to stay again when back in Derry. My son claimed it was the best part of the trip!
