All little more attention to detail by cleaners and maintenance teams. Suite and Leisure had multiple spotlights not working, which also hid the cobwebs and dust. Plus pool side shower not working.

Staff were brilliant and really helpful. The location is breathtaking. Leisure suite was a welcome break.

We decided to pay for a suite when booking to have a little bit of luxury and naturally we assumed the best rooms would have the best views. When we got into the room, we were shocked to find that our view was onto the carpark! Fortunately, the reception staff were on hand the help us out and relocated us. Hotel also had a dampness smell in the corridors, which was a little off-putting.

The room we eventually got was beautiful with everything we needed and a beautiful view. Staff were very helpful, especially Liz the receptionist.

There are signs of needing maintenance: the balcony from our room needs painting, the tiles on the entrance steps need fixed, the chess set in the gardens need sprucing up.

Lovely sized room, pretty grounds and amazing view.

Restaurant staff were slow at breakfast. Poor communication. We were not welcomed in the Rafters bar as we had a dog, despite making a booking and advising we had a dog. The waiter was rude, disrespectful and unwelcoming. This resulted us in going out for dinner.

The location was great. Beautiful view from the room. Comfortable bedding.

There was a bad smell in our room from the moment we got in. Hard to describe it, like damp mixed with something. We opened the windows daily to try to get rid of it, but we couldn't. There were dirty socks in the wardrobe, left from previous guests, quite dusty, and hairs on the bathroom floor. The room definitely needs a bit of freshening up, especially for what we paid.

Beautiful location and lovely grounds of the hotel. The room was very spacious and the bed was really comfortable. The leisure centre is perfect for the kids. Breakfast was good. We liked that there was iron in the room. Staff appeared friendly at all times

Food was good but the choices I found were a little limited as a non meat or chip eater - there's no where to eat within walking distance so if you don't want to drive in the evening you have just the hotel's two options. The leisure centre cafe could do with at least one or two healthy options. And the main restaurant is could also do with a salad and maybe an extra vegetarian main course option on the menu.

Location is lovely on the loch, plenty of car parking and nice friendly staff.

rather dirty changing room by the evening when we arrived the bar meal wasn't very good - the macaroni cheese was huge but not flavoursome! Half the amount would have been fine for me with double the cheese! My husband had chicken and leek pie. but we couldn't; see any leek in it! And cold broccoli....? We were surprised the bar food ended at 8 and there were a few disgruntled guests who arrived too late ( but were accommodated) I can only assume you have problems getting staff... t

The shower and steam room at leisure centre wasn't working and adults ignored rules of children being allowed in jacuzzi and sauna. Staff didn't question this either. Thought breakfast and drinks were very expensive.

Room was clean and comfortable. Good that they had lane swimming for adults as only 2 hours dedicated for adult use.
