Gym is a few cardio machines, a couple of small dumbbells and felt neglected. If you are walking from the train prepare for a hill :)

The cleaning service was so so, they never replaced our toilet paper and there was still a decent amount of mess left uncleaned when we returned to the room (i.e. carpet not vacuumed). For the price the services were probably not as great as you'd want but as it is called "suites" it isn't really a full hotel and the location was fantastic, good enough to warrant a return.

Location was fantastic, room itself was nice and the TV in the room could be connected to a phone or laptop to watch movies.

Many other hotels will have a full breakfast included. Fraser Suites has a partnership with a small cafe next door but not at the level of some other hotels nearby.

2nd floor room was dark and cold. Bathroom.floor needs re tiling or grouting as dontje tiles below the shower, they seem to have been painted over rather than replaced/ regrouted

Location, just off the royal mile and 5 minutes to the Castle comfy bed and great that we could store our luggage on arrival and departure until ready to go to station

They didn't tell us that the view would be a wall. Make sure you ask what the view is before you book (unless you like walls, in with case make sure you get the wall-view).

The bed was a bit uncomfortable . That was the only downside of our stay.

Beautiful little hotel in great location of old town Edinburgh . The location was the best, just steps from the St. Giles Cathedral , in a small quiet street. The facilities are quite good. The fact that the room had a little kitchennette with tea and coffee available made it more comfortable.

The hotel is very well located at the old town. It is possible to reach the train station by walking. The room was very comfortable, staff extremely nice and welcoming.

The room needed a refurbishment but was usable

Location could not be better, The very centre of town and yet on a quiet lesser-used street. The room was a good size, 20ft ceiling and bathroom was good. Decor was a bit tired and the big old sash window let in a hell of a draft! Not enough power sockets by the desk and then two, randomly on the hall wall - that kind of not-made-for-purpose annoyance. Breakfast is not offered - but neither is it wanted here becuase you have several options on the doorstep

Bedroom lights kept turning on, on there own in middle of the night couldn’t get them to stay off, ended up taking key card out of wall to cut electricity off to room to stop this from happening. Told staff in morning they said this is Edinburgh probably was a ghost 🤣

When we arrived we asked several times if we could park where we were at. 3 employees told us yes it’s ok. One of them said you need to put money in the meter. He took us out to show us where. Being from United States we trusted them. Come to find out we were parked in a disabled parking spot. We got a ticket in the first 5 minutes for 50 bucks. 3 employees said we were fine. Not good very upset about that. They had me pay and they then locked one of us out of the room saying oh you only paid for one night. WTH. Get it together.

The rooms were so amazing. Great views and location on point. Free laundry was great.

We asked for a twin room, but the beds were pushed together. It was no bother to move them apart but then the moddle gap revealed a dirty floor. There were also issues with the heating, but the staff solved this in an afternoon.

The shower temperature was almost impossible to regulate correctly, the tap is not ergonomic. They tried to correct, but It was either scalding hot or tepid.

The location, a few minutes walk to all the main attractions. And the staff couldn't be pleasanter or more helpful. Made you feel really welcome every day.
