There wasn't anything to comment on negatively. I would stay there again happily.

The staff were super friendly and helpful, suggesting places to eat, drawing maps, and checking train schedules. The Agnes was an easy walk from the train station. My room was one of the modern ones. It was super clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good!

There is a railway line that runs along the back of the property but it actually didn't bother us at all and wouldn't stop us staying again

    Breakfast and location were excellent

The narrow entrance for vehicles but short of rebuilding the House of Agnes, there is little can be done about that!

Very convenient; arriving late in the evening we parked our car in the courtyard right next to our stable block room. The room was well configured and quite comfortable and we slept like logs!

The entrance for cars is not designed for even a modest SUV I made it in just but scraped my car a Volvo XX60 on the way out. You have less than an inch either side and I was too far over. Still they do warn you so a smaller car would be better.

Location place ambience staff food. A really lovely place with such history. It is also so quiet and idyllic albeit we were in the lovely Boston room at the back next to the gardens.

The trains running all night at the back of the room. The noise wasn’t a problem as I always wear earplugs but it was the vibration from it that I found annoying. My husband didn’t find it a problem. He slept soundly all night so down to the individual. If a light sleeper I would advise staying in a room in the main building and not in the Stables.

Everything was good. Breakfast was good. Room was very clean. Honesty bar was a nice touch. Location excellent. Being able to park car right outside our room was very convenient.

Nothing, perhaps an armchair in the room for reading but we weren't there very long.

Room was well equipped, very clean and very warm, the underfloor heating in the bathroom was a dream. We did have to turn the thermostat down as it was just too cosy! Location although we thought might have been noisy as on the high street was very quiet and so convenient for the station and getting around Canterbury. Breakfast was tasty and the staff were all super helpful. The option of an honesty bar was a nice gesture as were board games and umbrellas to use!

The friendliness of the staff was just one of the highlights of our stay. The breakfast was amazing, with a great range of choice between cooked and continental. The room was extremely comfortable with plenty of space to spread out and not feel cramped. The shower is a proper walk-in shower and not over a bath, which for us was a much appreciated bonus. It was within easy walking distance to the city centre, Canterbury Cathedral and the bus terminal.

Minimal facilities, could have been a little more such as conditioner.

Great location, even though it backs onto the railway, the noise is minimal and didn’t intrude at all. Gorgeous dining room, great building and lovely feel about it, esp with the touch of an honesty bar . Underfloor heating in the bathroom was lovely.
