Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomRoom booked on arrival not available. Had to wait 2hours to get this sorted. Not enough bar staff to cope with crowd resulting in 20-30min queue and wait to be served.
Location excellent. Staff pleasant despite the pressure they were under.

United KingdomBreakfast isn’t very inspiring. Bathroom should have a towel rail. Towels are left on a shelf above the cistern.

United KingdomRoom a little dated. Most doors would benefit from a little oil on the hinges to stop them being noisy at night time.

United KingdomTrying to get breakfast was a bit of a nightmare. Massive queues to get a table, massive queues to get food, glasses and dishes running out. Breakfast took an hour and a half. Very frustrating.
Huge queues at check-in were offset by a welcome glass of wine.

United States of AmericaWe were given handicapped room even though we did not request one and had no reason to request one. Bed was extremely uncomfortable. Shower curtain was ineffective, and water leaked over most of bathroom floor. Accidently pulled emergency cords trying to turn lights off. As compensation, we were given access to Club Level lounge, which was poorly stocked. Made for a nice quiet place to work with access to water & coffee, but that was about it. Not worth multi-nights sleeping in an uncomfortable bed. Hotel location was convenient to our conference venue, but that was about it. Public transportation was unreliable, and we ended up having to walk considerable distances to get anywhere.
Staff was very friendly.

United KingdomFirst night we were told we would be waiting an hour for food. Considering I was encouraged to book food this was very off putting and not very relaxing. Fortunately another waiter then reassured us he would try get food to us quicker which he did.
Club lounge and spa was lovely and relaxing. Nice nibbles in club lounge and enjoyed complimentary room food and drink.

United KingdomOnly 1 of the 3 lifts were working, which is challenging in a high building. Pool and gym areas were clearly a bit tired and need some TLC.
Staff all really friendly and helpful (particularly Jamie). Great proximity to the OVO Hydro meaning we could be in bed 10 mins after our show ended.

United KingdomThere was only one lift working which was struggling and felt as though it wasn’t going to work. Had to call for robes as they weren’t put in room. The meals weren’t quite as good as last time , maybe just the cost of living cutting out mochas and lattes in the machines and the dinners didn’t have an option for low fat healthy like salad with choices of dressing instead of just one choice.
It was close to Secc and the club room. Breakfast was good.

United KingdomThere was an issue with the lifts during our stay which was annoying and extremely frustrating as there were large queues.Only 1 was working and the one which was working could hardly take any people.it was rated for 16 people but you were lucky if It took 5.It was also incredibly slow. So much so many people were using the tiny staff lifts. Which were along a narrow corridor .
Staff incredibly friendly couldn't have been nicer . beautiful hotel.
