There was a knocking noise all night every half hour for a few minutes then it stopped and started again. Disturbed sleep and once up couldn’t get back to sleep. Very squeaky floor but not a big issue.

The double bed was very comfortable but the wooden foot board at the bottom wasn't ideal for my husband who is 6 ft 2 and kept hitting his toes. He slept on the sofa bed after the first night.

We were below the balcony room & there was a lot of noise from people moving around so we didn't get a lot of sleep on our 2nd night. The post of the four poster was in the way of the TV.

Noise kept coming from the bathroom. Tried to trace it, sounded like the wall behind the toilet. Even checked the outside wall for a cause. Found nothing

The room was noisy. For example the floors through the room were very creaky and squeaky so moving about especially in the middle of the night woke the other one up. The extractor fan in the bathroom is also loud and takes a while to switch off so both of us had a disturbed sleep

Everything was great. The breakfast was really good and everything was carefully thought about. Maybe some fruit or fruit salad would have been nice.

The breakfast is continental, so if you want a full Scot breakfast you can hit up one of the resutants nearby since Luss is easy to walk in.

The cottage is cute and fully updated (you'd never know it was once the police station!). Adam was very generous and allowed us to store our luggage in the garage while we hiked up Beinn Dubn.

It was great to have breakfast supplies left in the fridge. Although we didn’t get a hot breakfast, it meant we could suit ourselves in terms of timing. Good supplies of cereal, juice, toast and pastries. Fresh supplies each day.

The endless rain! Seriously though, the sofa bed is rather uncomfortable- one side is tilted and the middle has a raised edge. Perhaps a nice thick topper? And the bright green light over the front door is hard to sleep under for sensitive eyes. Also, the pipes tend to bang throughout the night - not sure what that’s about.

Comfortable, clean, quiet, and fixings for breakfast were greatly appreciated! Mmm orange juice. Bedroom is lovely - mattress very comfortable, and the bathroom, although small, has all we need. Beautiful kitchen, and who doesn’t love a washer and drier??

No code for front door access given we had to try to run down Owner or manager to get a key and code. Only helpful person was housekeeper, who saved the day.
