Didn't like the £12 parking charge! I woke up in the night very hot - tried to turn the hot radiator down but nowhere to turn off. So had to open the window, which was no problem Except... was on ground floor & the open window left me vulnerable through the night! - The fence between properties was broken down, felt unsafe. (PLEASE MEND THE FENCE & THE RADIATOR!) The window view is neglected, but with a little effort, could be lovely... However, all in all, it was ok.

The SHOWER was great! The room was ok - tired but clean. Good size TV, bed ok (need better pillows please!) Breakfast very limited, (cheapest stuff) but the boiled eggs were perfectly cooked! Staff attitude is SO important- I would easily return if the staff were more friendly & welcoming - these guys could warm up a bit! (Just my morning opinion) But if you like impersonal & business like, it's fine...

Very old, but we could see that they are doing some work to upgrade. Staff could engage with clients a little.

We usually stay in either the Travelodge or Holiday Inn and get the Gatwick hopper bus, usually £8 each return. When we researched they were approx £40-£50 more expensive so booked the White House instead. We landed 8.00pm but when we requested the shuttle we were told it ended at 7.00pm, although on Booking.com it stated 9.00pm. It cost £21 for a taxi one way from the airport and a further £15 for the shuttle back to the train station the following morning. Our room was very small. When we went for breakfast there was very little to eat. They had forgotten to get bread for toast the night before. When we looked online that day how much the Travelodge would have cost it was £11 cheaper. If only we had known. I do not usually give bad reviews, but we will not be returning to the White House.

The staff were reasonably pleasant. Bathroom was okay.

    ALl good

Chosen due to proximity to Gatwick airport and the ability to park on adjacent streets for free over a weekend (after 6pm Fri and before 8am Mon), enabling a short walk to both South and North Terminals. So didn't incur additional costs for parking or transfers to/from the airport. Perfectly good, clean bedroom. Substantial continental breakfast although basic. Fine for pre-/post-travel rest.

Couldn't seem to lock my door when I went out, perhaps my error

Great location just a short 10/15 minute walk from Horley railway station so easy to get from Gatwick and into London. Just down the road is a characterful old pub, Ye Olde Six Bells, well worth a visit. Decent place for a short stopover stay. Continental breakfast was also welcome. Cereal, toast and jams, also a microwave and panini maker/grill you could use.

The room was fine at first glance, Pulling back the duvet, the bedsheet had a easily spotted suspect brown mark, I took a bath towel off shelf to cover and was greeted with large grey black marks on the towel, fortunately the other towel in the room was fine. Shower sealant covered in black mould.

I arrived late and left early, staff were friendly / helpful and organised the shuttle to take me back to airport, dropping me off exactly where I requested. The room was small but functional about what i expected for the low price. Breakfast was self-service and simple by perfectly adequate.

    A little bit noisy.

Good location, one mile from Gatwick. Clean and comfortable. A little noisy but that's because I guess other people use this as a stop over for Gatwick and leave at unearthly hours in the morning. Breakfast was self-service with an adequate range of items to choose from.
