No bottled water in the room. The hotel was REALLY hot. The fruit juices on the Tuesday morning and all been watered down and were really grim. This wasn't the case when we stayed Thursday night. I was staying with two children and wanted room service. I tried calling reception for 20 minutes but couldn't get through. When I went to reception at 10:10 was told that room service was finished. I explained about the phone and was told I was too late. Went to bed hungry after a packet of. It's and glass of wine for my dinner!

The staff were really friendly and the breakfast was delicious on the Friday morning. I booked two nights, one on Thursday night and one on Monday night.

Suite room was big, very spacious but loads of snags required throughout.Paint coming off a lot of areas. Too many stains on carpet. Front door very stiff. Table held toger by cardbord and maybe 2 screws instead off the required amount. Bed not made up during our 4 day stay - even though cleaner made our room up. and towels/tea making changed. Mentioned to front desk on 2nd day receptionist (chinese lady ignored question.). The other foreign lady really tried to help and was very helpful. Reason they said bed maybe not made up was due to busyness. After a day out and coming back to beds made is a normal expectation and part of what you pay for when you stay in a hotel of this standard.

Hotel location awesome had a suite with sea view and balcony. Amazing view. Breakfast nice. Lots of choice. Staff - especially the night staff! Awesome!

the general maintenance is lacking.. Showers not working properly installing a safe in the rooms would be desirable

we were "down graded" from the suite we had booked.. The staff tried hard to compensate us, but we felt any change of room from that ordered had to be done by prior consent & not a unilateral decisin

The building is beautiful, but the rooms are a little tired and bland in appearance.

The property is grand building overlooking the Bournemouth waterfront, the apartment was big and comfortable, easy walking distance to the pier and local attractions. Staff were friendly and courteous.

Just that room and bathroom need a bit of TLC

Great hotel but room could do with a little TLC. Staff were very accommodating to us and our two dogs. Bar food and breakfast was very good and good quality.

Hotel is run down and very tired needs a refurb, we had a suite and it was very tired, carpets stained, door frame broken, broken tiles in bathroom.

The bar area feels really cheap. We kept accidentally knocking our table because they're really light. (They're plasticy material). We took the dog so had to sit here and it didn't have a nice feel. Dinner wasn't great but when complaining the staff were really understanding and apologetic. There are parts of the hotel that are really dated and need updating.

We loved the pool area although if you're bringing a dog, be aware that you can't even sit near the outdoor pool with the dog. Children also HAVE to swim with an adult. Breakfast was nice and the front reception staff were really friendly. Location is what wins this hotel - a lovely walk down to the beach front and into town. You can see the sea from your bedroom if you're lucky and it was lovely and quiet at night. Complimentary water and fruit available all day in reception. Seating around the hotel was lovely and cosy. I didn't use the restaurant but looked nice.

The shower was blocked, the sauna had a broken wooden panel and the sauna just did not look safe, the gym is really small and pointless having..

We were greeted by a gentleman on reception who had no interest in helping us. We had luggage and baby stuff. I asked if there was a porter and he advised us to use the trolley ourselves - which we did!
